Been working on a Bazoler that I got cheap on ebay. He was pretty beat up and had no horns or side shelves at all.. the most of the paint on the body I was able to salvage. Still working on him but this is what I have so far. Im going for a more anime correct scheme.. I used friendly plastic and sculpy.. still have alot of details to do.

the green paint on the sides of the body blends in real well to the naked eye, these photos make it look off-color more than it actually is. Once its all done Im going to clear-coat and buff it all out so I dont think it will show in a photo..

Thanks this is the first time Ive worked with friendly plastic and sculpey, its not bad for a first attempt. Im gonna change those horn -points to sculpey, freindly plastic is strong as hell but it cools too quickly and doesnt sand well..
Im changing that Taito getter 1 into a "Black Getter", its coming along nicely, I just gotta figure out what sandpaper grit works best on sculpey to get a smooth look. I got his face and arm spikes looking real good just got to sand them out a bit. Paint went well on the parts that are ready for installation..thinking about using friendly plastic sheets to form the cape..that part is gonna be tough.

Cool! Why don't you try some heavy duty plastic/vinyl (table cloth/plastic tote bags) for the cape instead? You can paint it black with spray paint and it will be a lot easier to make than using friendly plastic. }D

thats a good idea, you think I could get all those folds right for the scarf part using vinyl?

Yes you can. You may have to get creative (using Elmer's Glue to permanently stiffen the vinyl, or something similar) but it can be done. }D

The Black Getter project is looking good! I'm even tempted to buy one and customize it myself...!
