Can anyone remember the name of that toy line of replicas of real world cars that transformed into robots, just like the BT's/Alts? I think I saw them in the recent wave of Toy Fair coverage, but the name of the toy line and the company that makes it escapes me.

I remember seeing pics of these a long time ago. Were they ever released? If so, how do you get them?

From what I've seen and heard these are 1/18 scale that are perfect ride vehicles for Gijoe and Microman.

Business or pleasure (judging from your photograph, my guess is that it might be he second one...) ?! Went for my sis's wedding, though was still on the look out for toys while I was there ;D Seen those at Toys R Us and the other in Pondok Indah Mall. Sadly no review from me since I did not buy them.

@ Otaru: He He... Drop me a line next time you come visit. I'll take you around Jakarta to see the real hardcore anime toy stores in Jakarta. Toys R' Us doesn't sell very well, so most of their goods are ... junk. So you have Indonesian in-laws then ?! @ Omni: Did you mean you were there for the wedding too?! To anybody else who happens (or plan) to be in Jakarta or it's vicinity, drop me a line ;D!!

No Indonesian in-laws, in-laws are Dutch ;D, my sis worked there so wanted to have the wedding there since all her friends are also there. As for the toy stores I did check out a few and was able to get some figures back home, like Nami from One piece. Thus the reason I did not get these alternator type line. Figures were more pleasing to the eyes ;D

Are you referring to the Portrait of Pirate Nami?! Or just the regular Bandai ones?! Didn't know you're into One Piece too!

Hmm. Seems to be Korean made... BTW, I've seen chinese made binaltechs bootlegs with pretty good quality recently. Most I've seen were of Hounds and Swindle only, tho.
