Laserion does look nice, but like someone already said, you could get the vintage Gokin with that kind of money. EDIT: Also nice going HLJ, listing Robot Jr. as not coming out until January, now I can't pay my other orders for this month

I should be getting my Junior Robot tomorrow. I don't know if I'll have time to open and review it though, between the university and the gym and everything else.. But don't worry, if that's the case then I'll make sure to post my thoughts on the figure on Saturday

Do we know when the AE-exclusive Toros D-7 comes out?

Im interested in Toros too but be VERY wary of both AE and ET..... Especially characters with thin legs breaking or if you want a perfect collector box.... They absolutely will not back you up in case anything goes wrong!!

Where is the preorder then? It just said so on their announcement at the Lucca Comics convention back in October. I don't know when the pre-orders will start.

I opened it.. I took some pics..
I'll post a more complete review of sorts in the following days. For now, let me list some positive and negative aspects of the figure:
+ I thought it'd be more lightweight, but it actually weights almost as much as a small gokin, nice. + articulation is alright. Not great, not SRC level, but it's OK.
- paint apps, I got a yellow line on the left kneepad, it's tiny but if you look closely it is quite noticeable. - fragile. I almost broke the left ankle while trying to free the foot. More on that in the full review.
All in all, it is OK. But one or two things could've been done better.

www.anime-export.com/product/29608Its here.....less then 300 left Looking at the photo, Im on the fence. Do the legs look immobile? I dont see any part lines on knees nor ankles. Whats up with that? Only joints at the hips and shoulders? Dont bother asking AE, theyre clueless....

Weird design choices - rigid legs the swivel at the body seems like pointless articulation for Toros.

Just got my strong zaborger..... Simply Amazing....simple but nice silky articulation due to strong magnet joints. The whole figure is actually painted!!!! The red is beautiful ferarri red!! Silver is fine silver metal flecks. The whole thing bathe in sumptuous gloss As expected, The proportion is absolutely dead on! Screen accurate!! again, the best in the industry... Looks like theres actually a little person inside lol.. Optional Pro No toxic smell, no styro...super easy to open plastic tray. Five green thumds up Cons Theres one screw missing on left lower leg.....wth The removable blade helmet part is rather loose. Repeated Rant... As usual for ET, Due to more magnets and steel balls allocated top half of the toy, its Top heavy.... And again Die cast lower legs and feet would have done wonders. So what if he cant high kick? For $10 more, At Least he could of stand stand without worrying about him shelf diving. ET, why are you so afraid of die-cast? Still, I highly recommend him if youre a either Zarberger or ET fan...just a phenomenal figure. BTW, AE where i got this fig from along with Couple of others, actually packed properly this time....not as neat as last time but still had a decent cushion. I guess thats where extra 8 to 10 shipping charge comes from....

This Getter 1 does not look bad at all. I'll see if and when I'll pre-order it. +++ Ok, this was long overdue. My review on the DAs-02 Robot Junior. Instructions and everything else is printedin black&white on a single sheet of paper. There's not much in terms of accessories either, just a pair of bat-holding hands, pair of open hads, pair of "iron batters", a rock and an alternate head. Yup, that's right. Back then, judging from the promo pictures, I thought that the jet cap could attach to and detach from the regular head, but as it turns out there's a jet cap head and a no-jet cap head, which can be removed by sliding the things backwards on that rail there. Now, the figure itself is fine, overall. Not too small, not too lightweight, the magnets are strong and keep everything in place (in fact, some of them might be overkill) even paint apps are good, except for a minuscule yellow line on one ofthe kneepads, but it's barely noticeable. What I have a problem with, is this: Do you see it? Here, let me highlight it for you: The ankle segment. It is bent, and almost snapped. How? Glad you asked. See, the plastic they used for the toy is not of the strongest kind, let's say. The ankles are especially problematic, because of how thin they are. The feet were blocked, by some paint residues presumably, so I tried to free them. Gently, because I already knew what happened to GGG's Pantheroid, so I tried to move them as carefully as possible, pushing in all 4 different directions and trying to twist the things on their axis too, both ways. The right foot gave me no problems. The left foot? Yeah, no matter how gentle I was, it would't budge. So, when I finally applied enough force to move the damn thing.. the ankle bent. Part of the plastic turned white-ish as it often happens when you bend some plastic. It didn't break but.. we're almost there. Plus, it stayed bent that way. It's not giving me any stability problems with the figure itself but it's not nice to look at. And there might be problems in the future too, it might break off completely, who knows. I'm sure there are some ways to fix it.. don't know, maybe heat up the part with a hairdryer while moving it back into position.. or cutting it off and reattaching it with superglue, keeping it straight while it dries.. or, you tell me. I'm open to suggestions. This issue kinda ruined the experience for me, too Well, the toy itself is decent. Also, I know the holding hands are made of soft plastic and they're meant to give way when you try inserting the bats in but, after what happened to the ankle, I was afraid some other problem might arise, like paint-scraping, so I didn't try them out. Oh, anyway, here'sa pic of the paint imperfection on the left kneepad: Final opinion: mixed.

I wish they did include Command Machine like Bandai did with GX-06M or what they did with an extra ship in thier Getter Dragon release.. that makes it kinda like somethings missing from this set.

Wow. Gordian. Didn't see that coming (unless I missed something). I don't own any of these, and don't particularly like the quality (or the price for that matter) so I may be biased, but that is the fattest rendition of Gordian that I have ever seen. Just doesn't look right...
