If you grew up with the Marvel Shogun Warriors comics then you know what a big deal and how hard it is to put together "the team." Post a pic if you've managed it.

A couple of my Shoguns are still in some disarray from Samurai Destroyer Hopefully in the next 2 to 3 weeks, Richard Carson, Genji Odashu, and Ilongo Savage will be able to pilot them once again ;D And I can add to the photo mix at that time. Glad I could be of assistance with some of your Combattler needs. It looks good.

If anyone does not get the Samurai Destroyer reference, that is how Marvel killed off the Shogun robots in a particularly craptastic issue of Fantastic Four after the Shogun Warriors comic was cancelled at issue #20.

Those look great! I am extremely jealous!
Thanks for spoiling the last issue of the comic for me! It's the only one I'm missing. Lol
Hey is the upper chest decal (on Combattler) a custom or was there a release with that version? I've only ever seen a pale yellow version. It looks really good btw.

Yep, that was Fantastic Four 226, I was so pissed as a kid when they did that. Was so hoping the Shogun Warrior comic would be resurrected.

Will I'm glad you asked, the chest cockpit sticker on my Combattler is indeed original. There are two variants of the Combattler Jumbo stickers, let me illustrate: Version 1 This is the one you are referring to, where the chest cockpit sticker is a pale yellow with cockpit lines and both of the fist forearms have the yellow stripes like the claw arm. Also the waist sticker has red kanji. This picture is from the current auction on ebay with the $4200 buy it now: Version 2 This version has the gold metallic chest cockpit sticker like mine, and both of the fist arms do not have the yellow stripe, but the claw arm still does. The waist sticker has yellow kanji. This picture is from a 2008 ebay auction from an Australian seller that ended at $1500: There are also some differences on that back stickers but I do not have shots of those to compare. I don't know which variant came first, but V2 seems to be less common.

There's also a variation with the claw fist. Some have a left claw fist and some have a right claw fist. I don't have pict to illustrate that right now but it's something I saw a few years back.

You're right! My Combattler has a right claw fist and the one in the Australian picture I posted has a left claw fist.
