has the 2006-2007 series started in Japan?

didn't they start in June last year?...or was that the USA...wait, i have NOT seen anything from the Japanese Transformers in a long time...is there a new series coming after Galaxy Force?

Isn't Neo G1 going to be the new series? It's not out yet, but it's just about ready.

The Japanese series usually predates the American series by several months, but I suspect that the Tomy acquisition slowed things up quite a bit, and now they're laying off 15% of their workforce, so that messes with time tables too. So Takara is definitely behind schedule (new series should have been out by now). It's possible that the tie-in with the designs from the upcoming Transformers Movie is slowing things up as well.

a CLASSICS cartoon would be awesome, but i would doubt it. would love it, but ...doubt it.

I know the classics line is just filler till the movie comes out, but I wonder what Japan will be doing till them. I know Hasbro brought over Car Robots for filler till Armada. And since Tomy has acquired Takara, who knows if they will do any sort of new toy line/cartoon till the movie comes out next year.
