photos kinda blurry sorry.. and those flaws cant really be seen by the naked eye. but photograph them in hi-res and there they are! ha

thanks guys.. that was my second robot project I think.. I got more to come.. gonna finish Bazoler and then I want to articulate that Banpresto Getter 1... BTW some guy in Thailand is selling a 20 inch Mazinger vinyl model on ebay for like 40 bucks delivered... know anything about it? I think its a recast... is it any good?

LOOKS GREAT!!!! Cant see the flaws but to touch any up,go back in with a real fine brush and black paint to do cut ins on any overlapping into the black,like the green edges where it may not be straight,or out of the lines etc.,chest etc.IF you have any flaws that is,Im just suggesting if you have any!! GREAT JOB!!

its mostly the silver on his neck and horns.. looks like it rubbed off before I got a chance to clear coat it..its clearcoated pretty heavy.. kinda scared to touch it up and clearcoat again, Im afraid the clear my cloud up with a second coat but not sure

hi, ive got a few of those recasts. theyre hit or miss. i got an ultraman that has dents and pitting cast into it. primer and sanding wasnt anything i had planned on. i recently bought a lathe and make a lot of my own parts now. i like garage kits, but total bootlegs often have imperfections. its sometimes easier to start from scratch.

its a recast of a kaiyodo and its BIG!.. I figure if it has imperfections I can fill it with sculpey and slow-cook it, then sand it flat.. Its on the way right now, be here in a week or so.

The example looks pretty good.. Pilder looks like its a two part mold... I hope that doesnt end up being a pain in the ass..
