So the Ironman 2 figures are not bad looking. They are small, but I have seen a few armors I would not mind buying. www.hasbro.com/marvel/en_US/ironman/shop/browse.cfmNow there was the Hot Toys Iron Man, which was pretty cool, and I expect more of these and likely a war machine from them. One thing to consider is this is now a Disney movie, since they bought marvel. I am not sure if Disney will put their stamp on it, or how involved they are in the making since the movie rights might not be fully theirs on this film, but I suspect Disney might have a more broad impact on the toys. They tend to have a lot of non US releases figure wise, so there might be some even cooler figures coming from japan lines. We can only hope, especially with all the new armors in this movie. And here is the trailer for 2. toysrevil.blogspot.com/2010/03/iron-man-2-trailer-2-online-now.html

How about that Ironman 2 4-Wheeler, huh? That thang is HOT!
"Johnson! Remind me again why Ironman needs a 4-wheeler."
"Yessir, um... Ironman doesn't necessarily "need" a 4-Wheeler, but kids will indeed make their parents buy them anything baring the franchise. Plus, this was a fantastic opportunity to re-purpose the Spiderman 3 4-Wheeler design."
"Excellent, Johnson - EXCELLENT!"

I saw that toy, and was like WTF. Its amazing how companies still make absolutely stupid toys.

While trying to find a Animated Arcee at ToysRUs, I bumped into the new Ironman 2 toys. Surprised by the 3.75" being the main figure line (unless I have been mistaken). Though small, some has a very good sculpt. What catches my eye was the Mark V. Quite different from the rest of the movie Ironman designs, and has a lot of details on the ribbed motive. It may look crappy with the original paint job. But panel line all those stuff, you got a pretty kick-ass mini Ironman figure. Nice to have a display stand with a 3 layered card too. Expect a couple random loose joints. But the Mark V is pretty cool, though its a bit off from the design showed in the trailer. Oh well...

Another $150+ burned. And they're releasing it shortly after their T-800. Busy Hot Toys spring/summer.

LMAO! LOL! I can't believe it. Dude, you're breaking your rule! I love it. Sounds like you've been resisting and resisting....." Aw screw it!" ;D This is a damn sweet version of Warmachine! I think I would totally have to plunk down as well. I think my fave of HT so far still has to be the 1/6th Deluxe Dark Knight PERS.

Hey, Thanks for the news! Release date "Q3"... what does That mean? As in, the third quarter of the year, as in, Fall of 2010 (September)? Hot Toys makes some fine movie franchise specimens, and I'm about ready to crash the gates at my local Family Dollar store to grab one of these. ;D zozo-Magengar
