IT is incredible!!
The t28 gigantor had been imported in Italy anf France with a strange yellow box .The inner part is exatly as the japan or godaikin version but the box is very different!
the seller asked 3000 euros for this one.!!!
This is the rarer versin of the t28 dx I think
Anyone of you have seen this box? Anyone can make a real evaluation?

that is quite a high price for a Tetsujin.. we are talking about Tetsujin DX right not the SG-01? I believe that one was offered from England a while back. I don't know the details though.

Oh THAT t28. I was thinking of the SG-01 DX large chogo.
This auction toy probably IS a non-Japanese make. To be honest, though, I dont know. I can just say that a European Battle Fever that I own was made in Singapore and not Japan.

i agree ED, I have a Japanese book showing diff kinds of Jap made tetsujins including chogokins, tins , helmets and giant figures etc. For tetsujin chogokins, the most expensive is the sg-1 if its complete and MIB. I'm not familiar with that tetsujin ver, its Definitely not 100% Japanese. I won't buy it! For tetsujin's i prefer japanese made(box and robot) cos it originated in Japan,.. any tetsujin made or modified outside Japan will be considered 2nd rate. However, hardcore tetsujin collectors might have a diff point of view on this subject matter.

NO! Not this One !!! I mean The 2 FEET TALL CHOKINZOKU !! I have seen it ,not this little gb23!!
This box is well known in Italy.
The sg 01 gigantor with the italian box was made in japan, and had been imported in the same period in wich the japanese one was released.
This is not as the godaikin,in fact it has not the sticker with the write made in japan under the feet, but the same marks of the japanese one.
Thi explain the 3000 euro's request of nthe seller..

Popy Chogokins are rate as follows: 1)Japanese box-most expensive(made in Japan best quality) 2)american release(godaikin/shogun)-2nd (made in Japan but box is US print. some are not fully detailed ex. grendizer w/ spacer st and wings of great mazinga for shogun line) 3)european release-3rd(cheapest of the 3 that's why most of them are made in Singapore and taiwan) most euro release have stickers on the toy with taiwan written on them, then when you peel them off, made in Japan can be seen. Reason for this of course is the molds used are the same as of the Japanese ver. Take note that most euro boxes says made in taiwan but some sellers scratch them off.

You have to know that the fisrt wave of toys ,imported earlier than the godaikin one in Italy, had all the 'made in japan' mark on it.
My Daltanious italian box is Made in japan but does not have the stickre like the godaikin ones,in fact the writes are casted on the toy.
In a second period ,when popy decided to sell these toys by itself ,decided to product these items in singapore-taiwan.
The godaikin toys in Italy are te worst of the 3 set. Last example :the combattra shogun one box is rarer than the godaikin one nad it is all marked made in japan..
All the Italian chogokin by popy were imported In the same time popy was selling in japan..
Godaikin wrer released 4 years later...

don't get me wrong. i mentioned "most of them" cos i have a few euro box stuff myself before and i had a hard time selling them in Japan 2 years ago. Of course they have the earlier ones that are more valuable. I know that some of them are made in Japan but keep in mind that most of them have stickers on them w/ made in taiwan(when you peel them off "made in Japan can be seen") this goes with the box too.It started during the GB series i dunno about the GA versions since i haven't encounter any euro GA ver. I do find a lot of them valuable (not popy) though like the cepparatti(spelling?) Gingaiser etc. They are rare cos not a lot of them are produced, so some collectors find them valuable. peace dude. just my personal opinion.

Yes,in fact most of the ga series were sold as Shogun Warriors bu for example the ga 79 danguard ace dx was sold with the same japan box ,same as leopaldon ga90 dx . Anyway my t28 (the big one)loose but becoming from an italian /french box has the japanese marks and not the little sticker with the write made in japan, that is the reason I think it it the rarer version we can find. ps for all forgive my english

This deserves a bump. I just got to see pictures of an SG-01 indeed with the first Japanese look to it (made in Japan stamped). The styrofoam was actually made in the UK and stamped; cool. The box is printed in French with small Italian typing.
