HL PRO Go Nagai Coin Banks

Hey, Guys!

I am a little bit confused here...

I purchased the Grendizer and Mazinger Z coin banks by HL PRO.

Grendizer horns (antennae; whatever their name in English is) are in anime/manga color...while his head got some parts in silver (metal 'normal' color).

Mazinger antennae are in golden (metal 'normal' color) as well as the rest of his head.

So, upon the 3rd picture below, I am wondering is my Grendizer coin bank a manga edition because of the horns color or is it the normal color and HL PRO just decided not to paint 'em in gold?

Also, with that 3rd picture...do we expect a new 3 repainted coin banks in anime/manga color?

Update: HL Pro on Facebook says, "There are 2 different versions of each Mazinger and Grendizer coin bank in the market, expect Jeeg only one."

OK, this just made me more and more confused now!
Did anyone see any other versions rather than the 3 coin banks in the HL Pro photo above?

Also, HL Pro told me if my Grendizer's horns are not gold, then it is the manga version! Hold on, how come?

I like the "manga" (which is actually "anime", but HLPro got it confused) a lot better than the gold metallic one.

they did mix it up. The black version is the Manga comic. The blue version is the tv animation series.

i prefer the darker version myself which looks more menacing. that's the color scheme for the larger bust that i have

I am OK with both 'normal' and/or 'anime/manga' colors; but I just need to collect coin banks of the same theme! Now, things seem confusing: we have a 1/2 normal color 1/2 manga color Grendizer. A normal Mazinger. A (manga?) Jeeg.

And I still cannot find these so-called "manga ed." coin banks anywhere!

From HL PRO: "This Grendizer coin bank is actually not the manga edition but the normal version. That production was made 2 years ago and the change of color for the horns from gold to yellow was a request of our distributor 'Cinemaniak'

The Manga version was made for the distributor PBM Express in the Netherlands and the distributor Cosmic Group in Italy 1 year ago."[/i][/color]

So, I asked HL PRO if Jeeg coin bank is "normal" or "manga"...And the answer was: it is "manga" ...To me, I don't imagine a big difference between "manga" and "normal" edition Jeeg coin banks!

To be honest, it'd be a better match with the normal color. <sigh>

Finally, if you don't know whether to call the Grendizer coin bank "normal ed." or "manga ed." ;D "hybrid ed." will do. LOL!

Manga, or Mango, or whatever versions they come as,
I still like them. They're fkn awesome to look at,
an I'll bet they'll even look better on my shelf. ;D

I'd place Maz and Grendy on my wish list for now.
First I wanna go after that 20" Thai Mazinger kit
soon before it becomes out-of-print.

Finally, I received my Jeeg coin bank!
It came late Dec. 2013 but because of the unfair Egyptian customs I just got it today.
Its quality is probably not as good as Mazinger and Grendizer coin banks but it's nice.



I hope HL PRO makes Great Mazinger and Getter Robo coin banks soon as promised!
