Opened the Great Mazinger today. It didn't come with batteries (LR41)! But I guess it is a good thing for the collectors that want to keep them sealed in mint box. Also, Fewture spelled "GRAET" MAZINGER in the instruction booklet!!! One thing is for sure thou... the articulation on this little figure is amazing! I would even call it as good or better than the Bandai SRC articulation. If Fewture ever made normal sculpted figures with that kind of articulation, they would become the standard in action figures. Just outstanding! }D

Got my Mazinger Z in the other day after what felt like an eternity of waiting in pre-order limbo. He's pretty good. I feel like Getter 1 and Gaiking are stronger entries into the ES gokin line at the same size, but he's a nice, standard small figure. I'm more looking forward to the future Gordian release, though.

Waiting on mine to arrive. Anyone that collects this line know how these compare size-wise to the ES Gokin Reideen? I have the Gaiking and Tekkaman Blade and they are both one size and I also have Reideen and he is much bigger. At least half over again as large. I'm hoping these are about his size. Either way I'll love em' though.

I want the Mazinger but I'm hesitant to spend double the PreO price. You guys think its worth 90 shipped?

Ti someone else that is, it may be well worth that amount. }D

Well, not from me. I only have these two SD figures, and only because who they are and the light-up eyes. Oh, technically I also have an SD GaoFiGhGar model that I purchased last year, but I have not even open its box yet. Not into the SD thing at all. That said, I'm sure someone has all these Fewture SD figures, and it's just a matter of time until a group shot pops up here. }D

^ +1 on this, how's the diecast on the two? I'm on the fence with the ES line. Group pic (not mine, just found this pic on Facebook, credits go to Johnson Ong). I really don't know if I should start collecting this line or not... something seems off for me. Gold

Gold It's the same for me. I don't know whether or not starting to collect it. The prices are not that high, the figures have a nice sculpt and good articulation + enough gimmicks to satisfy the buyer. BUT the QC is not really great I've heard, as it often seems to happen with Fewture products, the metal content sometimes is unjustifiably low (for figures this size), and I'm not digging the SD look that much I'm on the fence too, but I've decided I'll make the final decision after ES Gokin Godmars comes out.
