Here are some pictures of the figure:   I looked on the foot and it does say Popy in Japanese characters, and I obtained it in a lot of Robocon vinyl chogokins and couldn't find a similar item. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry that these images might be large, I tried making them smaller on Photobucket but they seem to stay the same huge size when I preview it. |

Yeah, it's really interesting especially because it seems very similar in design to the Robocon characters, but I waded through a lot of pictures of Robocon vinyl Chogokin sets and I didn't see this one in any of them, which is what leads me to believe it is a different kind of thing.

his name is Gonbesu apearently he is from the the Kyodain series

Here's an old BROG about the chogokin version : toyboxdx.com/brog/?p=2829...this sofubi (vinyl) Gonbesu you have came in bag, or in a carded set, together with his 2 buddies Skyzel & Granzel. Mint in bag Gonbesu sofubis go for around 2000 yen and loose ones for 500-1000 yen. |
