Weird request

Guys I am going to ask for some help here. I am trying to make a Goldorak look as much like a popy Grendizer as possible and I need some pictures. This is where it gets weird. I need good pictures of the cod piece (crotch) and that whole area. I need to see how the red/orange looks from the direct front, side and back. I also need a good picture of the feet especially the red part in the front. I will post pictures as the project proceeds.

it will require some surgery if you want the tilting head. i made a vacuum form piece a few months ago of some red underpants for him. it was more work than i thought. i was thinking that making puffy stickers of his red underwear would be a better and easier bet.

I am thinking about an extended cod piece (like the popy) so it is 3D, and painting or stickers for the red. As for the head, I am not going to cut it but I am going to try to convince Bourno to cast me a neck piece like he did for his.

you could make it out of sculpey. rub the shape of goldoraks belt onto a piece of paper, cut out the shape, and build on top of it with gray sculpey. gray is better because its more rigid than other colors and this project would be all simple straight shapes. sculpey also makes a shape making injector, with different shape templates that can be put on the tip, like the old play-doh fun factory.

throw it in the oven for maybe 9 minutes, and theres your piece. you could make a simple one piece mold of it and crank out a bunch. use some spray adhesive and attach. im sure folks would even be willing to buy them.

That internal piece for the head is ...mmm... kinda crappy. I'd recommend just getting a collar(ie. Bourno or creating your own) and make a simpler, possibly magnetic head swivel/latch.

I'll take a photo of the bottom of the Grendizer head for you...

If you decide to go the sticker route for the cod piece inserts...let me know... I'll do a set with the beveling look to it. The rest of the groin area has this shrink(?) rubber fitting underwear that have the orange painted in.

Feet had stickers as well... the foot design is unique to Grendizer.

Thanks Will, pictures would be awesome. I don't plan to alter the head just yet. I want to get the collor piece and work on the pants piece first then tackle the feet and then maybe...maybe I will try to alter the head.
