Wow, that looks exactly like an enemy robot
from the Starvengers (Getter Dragon) series!
Nice job there, bro, it looks damn good!
As for that chrome, if you don't want it to look
so glare-y like that you might wanna try brushing
on some Rustoleum metallic-silver...............
...after you get rid of that chrome, sand that part with
fine sandpaper... then brush on some Rustoleum
metallic-silver, apply the paint in a minimum of two
THIN coats.
The first coat will serve as a primer to get the part covered
as thoroughly as possible...
... gently sand the first coat after it's thoroughly
dry, then apply the second thin coat.
The second thin coat will cover everything and will make
the overall paint-job appear uniform on the surface.
Thin coats will also minimize brush streaks as the paint dries.
By the time a second thin coat is applied there should be
no brush streaks on the surface, or barely-noticeable streaks.
That should do you fine. Hope this tip helps. ;-)
Thanks Zo-Zo Mag, I'll have to give it a shot, That villain is one of my boys favorites, I'm still trying to get a set of matching legs to customize, and a few more details and he should be about done,
maybe after I add the spikes to his claw and arm, I'll try that paint, like you said...it sounds like it should be perfect !!!
I have a few more sketches of other bad guys, that my boys want done, and I also ask for everyones favorite bad guy, so I could make them !!!!
I hope everyone enjoys them, I'm a little busy, doing a Photon base, but, I'll be back at it soon enough
