This thing is a pile of crap.... Yes there is metal used in its construction, BUT
-the legs and arms fall off easily -the arms cannot hold poses -the tank can barely hold itself together -it takes a bomb squad to get this thing out of the package with the 12 twisty ties.
VERY DISAPOINTED

Ugh. It seems that the general consensus on the Titaniums is not a good one.

i planned to get both, but seeing them, i passed on MegaTron, and got Optimus. he was twisted in too much, but i use wire cutters. Optimus is good

i saw them in toysrus and the QC was poor. i guess the only reason why they made optimus prime battle damange was because of poor QC and too cheap to pay for a good paint job.

Weird : I bought one here in Canada, and it was perfect. No looseness except for the forearms, no falling limbs at all. Received the US version today : arms + 1 leg disconnected right in the box! But that's probably due to poor packaging techniques. Assembled, I doubt it would be that bad.

I just got the all four of the titanium series for $20CDN each at my local TRU store [its on sale right now by the way]
My general consensus is they're pretty good. lots of metal content, simple enough transformation and decent sculpting. its $80buck well spent. This is one of the best bang for my $$$ in my collection at the moment just second to Yamato's die-cast Giant Robot
The bottom of the heap though would be megatron the limbs on mine actually stay on, my beef with it is just that its poorly designed/engineered.
the hip area just keeps splitting into two, and the tank mode is just plain ugly.
apart from megatron I don't have any major gripe with the rest. These are certainly on par with Toynami's Alphas in terms of quality. I'll likely get the rest of this line.

ok, i repent. i just got Megatron, and he is not bad. but i could almost SWEAR that mine is different. like darker and purple, and NOT the same as the pics on the box, the box shows a GRAY chested version, light gray dominating colors... are there 2 colors?
