Are there any differences between the Takara Primus that was released in the G1 packaging, and the Hasbro version that comes with the Unicron head? Referring to the Primus figure itself, not the extras.

i think no... if you want to buy it, buy the Takara version... the package is beautiful and the value is increasing every day...

Based on Hasbro's and Takara's track record, I think the differences would be the colors only.
