it wont bleed through unless your stickers are tattered and perforated. ive used 3m and elmers spray adhesives with no problems. im pretty sure those two companies, known for glue, would make sure of those types of things. hold your decal up w tweezers and spray lightly.
double sided tape would probably look pretty lousy on smaller decals where you could see the added thickness. i also dont know how to get double sided tape to release. you can release most glues with heat, in this case, a blow dryer.

Thanks 1oldrobot! How far away would you hold the can? Sorry for the stupid questions, just don't want to make a $3700 mistake! LOL!

about a foot. dont spray on your robot, just the decal. just enough to get it tacky and you get uniform coverage. one swipe at medium speed across the decal will do it

The spray can would be more for decals not on the jumbo, it can be done but need to mask off for over spray. I use Dap contact adhesive so you can brush on to the decal and the area where it will be at. Let it tack up for a couple minutes and then press down.

Thanks Wes,
Have you ever experienced any bleeding through the decal? Is the DAP product thicker than the spray adhesive? I just want the stickers to lay as flat as possible without any creasing or wrinkling. My concern is that if the product is too thick/viscous that it will be somehow noticeable and the sticker won't look perfect. Thoughts? Thx....

It is kinda runny, so can use a brush to apply it. Would be thicker than spray. I haven't seen any bleed through on the few decals I have used it on. It dries to a light yellow color.

Thanks admin1,
I just ordered the UHU glue stick and the 3m super 77 adhesive spray. I tested out the 3m spray on a blank piece of paper and was really surprised how strong the adhesive is...not really any room for error.
I think the glue stick might fits my needs better since some of the stickers still hold and I really only need to hold down some edges, more or less.
Thanks for all the input guys!

Yes Baron, I took your advice. It was a great suggestion that made too much sense to disregard. I love the 'new' look. Battle Fever J is simply amazing. I won't be able to make my mortgage payment this month, but heck, the foreclosure process takes some time. I'll have a roof over my head for another few months anyway!!!
