Hi, I ran across this (attached image) over the weekend and wonder if anyone can help identify it and perhaps tell me more about where it probably came from?
I think it was given as a gift in the late 70's or early 80's and may have been obtained in Japan and brought to the US.
Thanks!

Mekanda, by Bullmark. It was imported and sold here in the USA in boxes similar in design to the Japanese ones, but with English writing.

...to add a bit to KingboyD's description... Mekanda is likely the most recognized and popular (?) of the Bullmark diecast robots. It was probably imported and sold here in the States sometime between 1978-1982. Japanese robots sold well in the USA at this time which was likely due in part to the post Star Wars sci-fi craze. There was more than one version of Mekanda, but this particular version is the Mekanda ST (mid size) and was probably the most common. I believe there were also six black missiles that came with it. Retail price for this during that time was likely between $7-$11 USD.
