I used a 5/16 socket on a cordless screwdriver, and it worked great !! But I do believe a 4.5 mm would be about the same size. A light coating of silicone in size the sockets help it get a better grip......I saved a few of those screws, from when I dismantled a few jumbos, but only 5 or so..if someone needs a few....

The 4.5mm bit was too small. Going by it and the leg screw, would appear it is more of a 6mm screw then.

5.5mm
I just swaped out the leg on my Mazinga and a 5.5mm standard socket on a cordless screwdriver did the trick. And if a 5.5 standard fits then the security bit required would pretty much have to be a 5.5mm as well.

I have never seen a security screw that style for sale, I guess if you can't buy one, Bourno can make us all one...LOL maybe pour some babbit in the socket, while the screw in pushed tight ? who knows, maybe someone can find them for sell ?

I am going to sneak over to Sears after work today to find a 5.5mm socket. I tried at our local Menards store this morning and they only had whole milli-meter numbers. So, was too small for a 5 and too big for a 6. I did try using a 1/4" socket, poured a little JB Quick into it and made a screw impression. Either I didn't let the JB harden up long enough (3-4 hours) as it rounded off the fine edges.

JB Kwik is too pliable for an application like that, but it was a good idea.

Sears is a good choice. It was a Craftsman 5.5mm that I used yesterday.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info! I picked up my first Shogun Warrior today (Dragun) from a local comic shop who's left leg was on backwards for some reason. I went over to Lowe's and picked up a 5.5mm universal spline socket; it fits your standard hex fastener along with others, which I figured might be a solid choice given the nature of the safety screw... worked out great!
