Just opened my Saber. Here's my brief impression. The box is large, as twice as large as SRC GB I got along with the Saber. She comes in clear plastic tray. Half the weight on this toy is due to her display mantle and her other accessories. Her chest piece, side skirts, her lower legs and feet are die cast. Bandai should have gone all the way and made the forearms die cast.... She is about 1/4 inch shorter than GL. She has zero spruce mark. Her articulation are superb. Paint app is perfect! So, she has as much die cast as your better than average SRC. I paid $70 shipped. Would I pay $90? No... If you're die hard fan of her maybe, but if you're like me, just a die cast fiend who likes Saber for what she represents, an ice princess who can more than take care of business than yeah. I highly recommand it for $70. I'll put up a photo of her "soon," "coming soon..." "in a few days" when I get my "blank"

You're welcome. Did you get yours yet?
Here's my second impression and more of nit picking.
The figure seems rather small. For one reason or another, it reminds me lot of die cast Microman figure..... Small and frail looking, but heavy and dense due to many die cast parts.
Specifically, side of her hair sculpt is sloppy. The strand lines on the hair is not "even" or "controlled" they are crooked....
Unlike Bandai's promo photos, SAber's eyes are neon green... It just make the fig look like a cheap knockoff Cupie doll.
I wish the arm joints weren't so obvious, especially a girl figure.
Just like any figure, this has some "quirks", but I think Bandai def could of done better job on hair sculpt...
I couldn't careless about all the acesories so I would pick this up if it goes on a good sale for say., ...$50-$60 shipped.
Here's my photo of Saber still in box along with my 2013 hauls so far.. ;D More photos "coming soon, release due at end of March.".. hehehehe;D

Small and frail looking, but heavy and dense due to many die cast parts. thanks for the feedback. i keep getting the impression that the figure is quite sizeable, similar to that of goodsmile, 1/6 scale? it will be quite a bummer if its really small anyway, mine ought to be on its way.

Saber is 14cm tall. or 5.5 inches. I still haven't received mine yet because I ordered with SAL, but what I do know for sure is that she's a bit taller than the figma version. Maybe .5 inch taller.

Here's my third and final immpression.
The wind swept hair piece make Saber look %100 better. Be mindful of her dainty wrists. The pegs are really tiny. I recommend some silicon jelly. Her die cast ankles sideway movements are super SPER tight! I recommend food grade mineral oil to lube them. Now another nit picking con, why didn't Bandai paint ribbon around her hair bun..they left it as blond color. Please do correct me if I'm mistaken.
The more I play with her the more I like her. A good buy I think at $70 shipped. She's precious. Did I just say that? Yes, yes I did.

Wait Bandai didn't paint the ribbon around her hair? Was that part ever supposed to be painted?
I recommend the fate/zero anime. Excellent animation, well paced and some cool twists. Fate/stay night is just okay......

OOPS! Nevermind about the "unpainted part.... Just checked the still anime shots ,and part I thought unpainted ribbon is actually Sabers "braided" hair wrapped around her hair bun....
Sorry for my ignorance, my apology to Bandai and Fate fans....

Got my Saber today. Initial Impressions: - Joints are nice and solid, nothing was overly tight on mine. The neck joint is a tad loose, but holds poses just fine. - Paint job is very tight overall on the figure. - The sword with the chrome blade has some chips and small splatters of paint on it. BUMMER - Saber is quite stable, the metal feet and legs give her some nice balance. - The faces don't bother me as much as I thought they would, but they're still not as good as the figma faces. - The added base is hollow, but displays well and gives a nice touch of class - She comes with a ton of accessories.
So far I feel pretty satisfied with this purchase. Although I wish I could exchange the chrome sword for a new one. Too bad amiami doesn't give replacement parts to people outside of Japan. Maybe I should ask bluefin to see if they can send me a replacement sword.

Glad you like yours moleman. Yeah my chrome sword had three visible scratches on it too... Overall, I think it's really well done fig. I really like mine now. I did see some Zero anime last night. I got up to episode 6. I liked it. Now, I can't wait for the Chogokin Archer release.....and Berserker. The hunt is on!! ;D

just opened mine yesterday. find the figure pretty fragile, probably due to her size. but was really happy with the ton of accessories.

Wow, for once amiami agreed to send me a replacement part. Hopefully this time, the sword for my Saber won't be all scratched and chipped.

For mine for around 56 thank you declining yen! She's nice enough but not sure if I'm goin to keep her I'd prefer her dark version then this one ... So I may sell her off not sure yet. Brenda my sword had no chipping or splash marks and one complaint I have is why no effect part for sword itself?!? Just about every version of saber has effect for sword while splash effect is cook is Mitch rated have one for sword! An they made three swords to top and two scabbards?!? Anyway other thing I would of like if the base lit up some how all that hollowness could of been out to use but these are minor gripes of Maine she is a great Figure if you don't own a saber I say sea the est version though I would live to get that realistic action figure that came our years ago that is like impossible to find
