Is the hole in the chest the same shape as the hole in the 2nd edtion?...anyone have a 1st edtion chest piece for sale?

The 1st version chest piece protrudes out more at the top to give it a more vertical look than the 2nd version. I never popped any out to compare if the holes are the same, but am guessing that they are.
I like the 1st version where it has the black fist and the fist itself is what I like to dub the "popy" version like Grendizer has for being about 10% smaller than the more common standard fists. I like the fist shape with this version as well.

id be careful. i tried to attach a v2 fist to a v1 mazinga and it exploded. i lost an eye and it killed my mom.

Changes from 1st to 2nd..
~ The chest piece on the 2nd is smaller than on the 1st. (You will need a real 1st Ed. chest wing)
~ The head is different and the condor ship from a 2nd will not fit in a first ed head. (you will need a 1st ed. Condor)
~ The color of the plastic used to mold the hands is different.
~ The missile launcher hand on the first is of slightly different construction as well. (you will need a 1st's missile launcher)
~ The feet on the 1st have molded wheels
~ The pentagons at the knees of the 1st arch up between the thighs and boots of the figure.
~ The missile fins for the ones which come with the 1st are larger and more flared. (while 2nd ed. missiles ~will~ work to be complete you will need a set of 1st ed. missiles)

IM looking for a 1st ed Condor or repro , the chest piece, leg racks and a repro left fist or a 1st edtion shooter... . (but Im flexilble and we can work something out) swords and missles I will eventually want also. Im willing to use a mixture of trade and money also.

I have a couple of repro swords for Mazinger and a repro Condor. I have attached photos. The swords are really good but the Condor has bubbling and an okay paint job. If you want 'em, let me know.

I don't know that this is first edition Condor. It fits my Mazinger, but I think mine is a 2nd.
