pretty awesome, but i always though he would have the size of God Sigma or Ideon at least. i guess combiners will always be the bigger units then?

Looks amazing and I seriously have not been this excited for an SOC in a very long time! Cannot believe some folks in here are griping already. Some people will never be happy.

I don't think he should be Ideon height etc. This is a Shogun Warrior and he has to be about the same height as the other ones so we can recreate the comic book covers!!!!

Plus that Danguard is a promo shot so you know it was probably the most perfect toy that came off the assembly line and I wouldn't be surprised if it was touched up digitally. My Danguard is nice but it's nowhere near as flawless as that example. Also your working with a larger "canvas" with the Yamato, Bandai has to put roughly the same amount of detail and stuff in a toy that's probably only 2/3's as big. And believe me there's no point in hoping for a Daioja sized increase, the size probably has been set in stone and won't change. Well I'm hoping he will be close to the size of Combattler V then. What stands out the most for me is the perfect proportions especially on the thighs and legs. The Yamato version's legs looked weird to me with the super short thighs. |

Does Bandai release specs of how tall an SOC is before the actual release? Or do we usually have to wait once we have in-hand reviews?

He's standing in front of God Sigma, so he's closer to the camera. If you follow the link the guy says it looks like Danguard is between 18-20cm tall or 7.5-8".
