Don't want to miss out on this little guy so bit the bullet with NY. First time using them, but the price seems reasonable enough.

I'm still waiting for a response from Anime Export ... For those who want to go through amiami or NY, go ahead. As soon as I got news, I'll let you know. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from Anime Export. (2 messages waiting for a response)

Ordered my GX-62 from amiami along with ultra-act zoffy. Zoffy is gone in an instant! less than 5 mins after pre-orders open and it's all gone!

I think the little guy, like most SOCs is a mass market item, so there should be enough to go around, one each that is... ;D

Thanks man... Maybe this was a little bit to late for this one. Now I also asked other Japanese shops to know if they are interested in any deal with our forum. I don't want to open a wholesaler account because we will lost money on shipping : japan to wholesaler adress + shipping to members. I prefer dealing a kind of early preorder directly, with a list of RJ members with their quantity orders. Then, with any big or average release, we can book a maximum of these "early preorders" to insure a big stock sale with the shop. The discount will be less than opening a wholesale account, but efficient to reduce the (too much) money we are dropping in our collections. To be clear with everybody, I don't want to win money with that kind of deal (just a discount on my orders, it's few), I prefer "wasting" time on artwork and creativity than deal and making business with toys sales.

Wow, I've actually been able to preorder something through AmiAmi! Amazing! LOL, I know it seem as if amiami has the lowest stock available for most items but when it comes to Chogokins, there has never been sell outs. Both SRC and SOC are usually readily available. It likely that amiami can accept as many order as it gets and Bandai will supply it to them. That or The chogokin collecting community is actually smaller than it actually is. Sure it seems big because most chogokin collectors are concentrated here. Anyway, I haven't purchased a SOC since the GX-56, one of the Tobikage and I am happy to finally see a SOC of a character that I like, and affordably priced under 100 USD.

I got 1 from AmiAmi. Will combine with SRC Grendizer for shipping. They come out in different months. How will you pull that off with them?

I just placed my pre-order with NY - $115.57 shipped Registered SAL. It is only 100 ¥ more expensive than AmiAmi, and I bet NY's shipping fee is less expensive by far. ;D }D Followed your lead on this one. Compared with some of my previous purchases (King Robo Mickey) and this is definitely a cheaper option. Plus it locks in that price if the Dollar drops to the Yen in the next few months.

It's not about availability, it's availability at retail price. Especially if it's a popular Americanized show.

I always use Nippon-Yasan to order my Tamashii Exclusives, and so far I am pleased with their service. They are a bit slow responding to e-mails, but they are quick in shipping and the products are well packed. And since I was willing to stay awake last night waiting for AmiAmi to have the pre-orders for Danguard Ace and Double-X Gundam available, I went straight ahead with Nippon-Yasan. Now I have to e-mail them to combine this pre-order with the Gunbuster weapons pack order. I do not know why AmiAmi is pulling that stunt with Bandai products, but it is getting tiresome.

Yeah I should check on that too. I ordered 2 of the gunbuster upgrade sets, one for my Busteruuuuuu and one to sell later in the year to pay for both Also, if you're having troubles getting NY to respond over email, message them on FB. I get fast responses there.

Meh, I do not have a FB account. And I refuse to get one. NY is slow as in it might take 1-2 days tops to hear back from them. But they are still reliable and prompt to fill my needs as a customer, so I am fine with that.

Thanks for the updates guys. I pre-ordered through NY, guess will see. I am trying to collect the different sizes. Should be a nice size between the GA-78 and DX version. I still need to talk myself into getting the Yamato one
