Wow, the Yen is dropping like a rock. I noticed that with my last order. Anyone know the particulars as to why? The only thing I can guess is that perhaps the dollar is doing better and maybe we aren't printing up so much freaking money? Nope. The US is still printing money, but Japan is going to print at a higher rate. Japanese exports are getting killed, especially in electronics. Korea is doing to Japan what Japan did to the US in the '80s.

If you click "Pay My Order" it will show the the current price based on the exchange rate. For example, I had a preorder placed back December with a total of $499.63 but when I paid it last month it was 450ish.

It seems that Korea's late antics is having an influence on the Stock Market.

This was my 1st time buying from NY and I picked USD.

You can email NY to request to change the currency of your pre-order. I just did that, though it took them 2 days to change it and they did not reply my email. I had to check my account again to see that they had changed it.
That aside, apart from GX-62, amiami has also taken down SRC Grendizer from the site.
Weird that they did not leave them there and put the usual "Sold out" button. Perhaps they are getting too many enquires on whether the items will be available when launched.

AmiAmi is taking stuff down their English because they are saying that those items were intended for the Japanese market only. Which is a bunch of BS... However if you pre-ordered those items before they took them down from the English site, they will honor them.

AE may not have as good prices but they make up for it with combined shipping and lower shipping prices.

It won't be adjust with the later rate. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us!"

But when you receive the payment request the final price will not match. I have been dealing with them for a while, and I always paid in USD to avoid conversion charges. And I tell you the price that I pay is different compared to the time I paid the pre-order. I have a pre-order that should be available at the end of this month. So sometime next week, I should get a payment request. I will compare the prices and let you know.

I don't think it is a Japan only item. The local stores in Singapore are taking pre-orders with the catalogues provided by Bandai South East Asia.
Hence I am very sure GX-62 is a worldwide launch.

I understand what you are saying, but if you ask AmiAmi that is the answer that you will receive from them.
