Hello all, Seeing that it is that time of year again, Halloween, I decided to look for some props for a costume. Low and behold I came upon this item and I was stunned. It was a Voltron Sword, over 22" in length. I immediately put two and two together and here you have it, a Blazing Sword for my jumbo. In my eyes of course, it is a perfect match. Here are the pics to prove it. So, for all of you guys that need a sword for you LJN or Japaneses jumbo Voltron, here is the answer. This sword, as you notice, has paint apps as well. There is another one out there that has the castle symbol on the hilt, similar to the Matty Collectors Voltrons' sword hilt, but I didn't notice that one until after I purchased this one. Sorry for the large pics, but you get the idea. By the way, that LSA combo Voltron is a placeholder while I'm waiting on my MP Dairugger to arrive, with the die-cast sword of course.

G1Autobot,
That is the nicest LJN Voltron Jumbo Machinder that I've ever come across. I think the metallic leg and waist stickers just make it look bad ass. What other Jumbo's do you have? How about a pic of your jumbo collection? If you ever want to sell that Voltron, hit me up!! Awesome collection too!

I picked up a couple of the swords as well. It is a big honkin' sword for Voltron. Kinda wish it was more around 18".
I like the white stickers on the wings as well.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yes, the sword is a bit long, but I like the aesthetics of it. Additionally, you can't beat the price. Maybe I'll make an adjustment to the hilt, handle, or overall length some time in the future. For now though, I like it just fine. I just wanted to introduce some alternative to not having a sword at all. By the way Bourno, did you get the exact same sword or the ones more closely resembling the actual Matty Voltron Sword?

Thanks. Saw a couple different ones on Amazon, but couldn't tell if it was the same one.

Man, I need a stretcher... the sight of that collection made me drool so hard my spine oozed outta my mouth as well. No, I'm not mocking you here, I'm friggin SERIOUS that collection there really rocks my world, it looks so damn awesome I could smell that fresh plastic and vinyl from here. I like that Voltron jumbo, but damn I also melt fiercely for those Mazinger figures, too. Great find on that sword, and thanks for the large size pics... ...I saved the pic of that sword (close-up shot) for use as a visual reference someday if I ever decide to make a custom sword for my Voltron jumbo (IF I'm not too lazy to get to such a project, amongst others I need to catch up on. lol) Thanks for sharing! zozo-mag
