Leopardon JM 1st version vs 2nd version

I was reading through some old threads and somebody mentioned there being two versions of the Leopardon/Leopaldon Jumbo Machinder.

My questions are;

1) Were there ever two versions?

2) If so, what are the tell-tale differences?

If it is true and someone has pictures, please post them.

Yes there's two versions.

The main difference is the blue sword. On the first version there was no sword and then no hole in the hand to put it.
And on the second version there's a hole in the hand and then a blue sword ;D
The notice paper is different also as there's no drawing of the sword on the first one and they've manage to insert the drawing on the second version.

So if my memory is correct, for this specific jumbo, the second version is normally more expensive MIB because it has more accessories.

Oh and one last thing, the sword in the second version is blue, and it's actually the same as Voltes V, except that it doesn't come with the red V chest part, it's just the blue blade you put in his hand.

Thanks Mike! My Leo came without hands so I had to have repro hands made. Without having the original hands, is there any other way to tell?

No idea, I was never able to see two MIB one in real side by side so it's hard to say. Not sure if there's a date of production emboss on them, and even if there is, they might have been produced the same year.

Hi Mike,

i remember that there is this link regarding 2 versions of leopaldon JM, I just receive mine, and there is a hole on the fist, thus it is the 2nd version. Like what you mentioned hopefully it is worth more, but mine is not MIB ahahha
