This picture should give you a pretty good idea on scale: EDIT: Note that the designer mentioned that the legs are extended too much, and Feral Rex should be around Hercules in height, although much bulkier.

Out of the 3, I like the MMC version the best. Really nice to know that it complements the TFC Devastator cause I don't have the Maketoys Devy.

anyone know what is the different between the Hasbro Predaking vs Takara version? Will it be available in TRU?
As much as I love these 3rd party predaking, i prefer them with diecast.

The price, most definitely... I think the Takatomy reissue in 2010(?) was about USD170, while this Hasbro reissue is only USD120. This issue also seem to utilize the recent reissue's color scheme with gold accent, but the stickers may be different. In addition, I've seen the combined figure to be holding an exclusive sword which was not included in the last Takatomy reissue.
There might be other, minute differences as well.

This picture is the reason I want this version of Predaking. Now can MMC catch up? UT has gotten two released and is about to release a third. They are 2/5, almost 3/5 done. At this rate, they can get the whole project out by Christmas and can sway some customers their way.

TFC looks like the only 3rd Party company actually actively designing AND releasing a bunch of Gestalts. All the other ones are still just showing prototypes and dragging their feet.

Yeah wouldnt that be funny... Here is TFC entering a Predaking combiner way late into the race and then ends up releasing it before the others AND they announce and show a prototype of ANOTHER combiner they are working on. MasterMind really needs to start releasing their products cause i'm sorta getting a little less excited as time goes by.

This is a must buy for me. He has the height and the heft that Predaking is known for.

Digged some pics : Ok, Lion (main body) is off scale with others, this ps pic looks not correct... Another comparative ps pic again : TFC REALLY gives a good effort in design with this one. I will definitly pick this one, also because limbs connections works with their other combiners. Combinations between them make this a great toy line for kids (yes we are).
