Hi All, Not sure if this is my first post, but it's been >3yrs since I've visited this site. Glad to see the site is still here and doing well. I dug out my old collection of vinyl/plastic figures and die cast toys from the 70's - most were purchased in Hawaii on visits back there when I was young. These are pictures of the vinyl/plastic ones. Are any of these pieces noteworthy? Some pics are attached. Also, if I'm interested in selling them, would you advise eBay as the best way to do that? I have a daughter but not a son, and I'm into other hobbies at this point, so thinking someone would enjoy these more than I can. Thanks all!

I'm not a vinyl expert but you have some really nice pieces there - a lot of fun characters. I see some diapolon guys, there's a lot of kamen riders, a reideen, a tekkaman and Pegas, the big clear figure with clothes should be a henshin cyborg (Pre-cursor to micronauts).
I know I am familiar with some of the other vinyl guys that have removable helmets and the other robot-ish guys but I don't want to give you the wrong names.
Either way you have a really nice mix of humans/bots/monsters and it looks like you have kept them really nice.
Thanks very much for sharing!!

Thanks Mr. Ginrai. I had no idea about the names and such. The henshin cyborg was one of the funner ones to play with, as well as the guy above him in the pictures because he had the helicopter in the head, the two half-cars in the feet, and the chain-punch.
Gotta break out the die cast ones next and take some pictures of those.

Yes, you have a great collection. There are a few of us here that are also big vinyl collectors. Some are worth big money, others are more common. For example, the one on the left in the top photo (name eludes me now, but I will look it up later today for you) is worth a lot. The other two are more common, but still are worth over $100 (maybe upwards of $250 for the Mikuras in the middle). The Kikaida on the left is worth several hundred, while the one on the right is more common and only worth around $100. Some of the smaller hero vinyls are only worth about $15, but again, its a mix with some maybe more. I will log on later and try to give you a list of all the names so you have it.
Are you looking to sell any? I would KILL for that Denjin Zaboga in the second to last photo. That is one of my holy grails!!!! I've been lusting after that for many, many years now. I'd possibly buy some others too, like the small Baltan and the Inazuman (the one with the mask on the right). Please let me know if you are interested in selling any. Thanks!

Hi KingboyD,
Thanks, I really appreciate your feedback. It's been so many years, and I'm not sure I ever knew all the names anyway - Kikaida and Kamen Rider I remember, the rest not really. I was 8-12 during the time I got these. I remember I had a 45rpm single of one of their theme songs as well - catchy though I didn't understand a word of it.
Yes, I'd be willing to sell any of the pieces. Unfortunately, the Denjin Zaboga is probably the one in the least good condition since it has the most moving parts and pieces. The mouse car is missing at the moment, and the doors to the feet are broken off. They both have one peg still on them - think the other is still in the foot. All other pieces are still there (helicopter, jet, missiles), though one of the missiles has the rubber tip missing. Not sure if the missile shooters work and the head spinning platform seems stuck though I didn't try to exert much force on it. And one of the two turning handles on the head also broke off, but for the picture I just placed it back in, so I think it can be glued.
Anyway, just let me know what you're interested in and I can take more and better pictures. I want to be upfront about condition of each and what works and doesn't.
Thanks again.

Sure, I will. I took some pictures this morning and will post them in the die cast forum this afternoon and post a link here for continuity.
