They look cool, I just wish that they were full sized Jumbos.
The whole "Mini Jumbo" thing always seemed a bit contradictory to me.

I found yet another picture of those "Astro Jumbos".. After looking at these guys I am almost inspired to go ahead and kit-bash some Jumbos of my own of figures that never made it into the line. After all, if Mattel could do it..

Wow luclin999, thanks for the pics, these guys are getting rare these days! you can also consider coming out with your own line of weapon accessories to add on to your JM line, maybe you can consider a THOR HAMMER or a TERMINATOR MACHINE GUN in jumbo size that can be hooked onto JMs.. might sell very well ;D

devoidofemotions: the location is Seoul, South Korea, in a small part of the city known as Insadong. I actually went to that place two or three times. The owner was pretty cool and he will sell you the items for the right price. I just didn't have the funds to support the "right price" if you know what I mean. He was asking astronomical values on his pieces. He still got my $2.

Hi bros & comrades, I was in Tokyo Japan for a short 1 night working trip and rushed to do some Jumbo scouting and here are my field reports ;D This is my 2nd sighting of the giant Diapolon this year, a very cool dude to see him real time. I did a few purchases and left in a hurry to rush for my flight, ironically that day there was a 6.2 mag earth quake in central japan, seems like a saved a few specimens being crused to pancakes, heh ;D

Nice stuff. I'd love the battle combination 2 set...and the big tryder hiding in the corner next to the daltanias.
And the diapolon, it looks huge!

I love the Grendizer with the blue writing on his belt. I think it looks a lot better than the yellow writing, imo. Can you bargain in these shops or is the sticker price firm? Either way, great to see the pics and the condition of these great relics. To my knowledge there is nothing like this in the USA as far as toy stores go, although I've never been to Super 7 or Toy Tokyo in NYC.

Some nice stuff. Thanks for posting the photos. Its interesting - the Diapolon has a ilted head. Either this is the same one that was seen floating around quite often in the past, or it is a common problem in this product. I suspect the former, but who knows?

Hi all, hope you guys enjoy the pics, i will continue to do so when I see any JM around. rodman75: usually they dont allow bargain, i tried a few times, but i failed that i stop doing so, i think they are very confident their item will sell. KingboyD: I am not sure abt the head of the diapolon but i saw him twice this year at 2 different locations, both are tilted to a side, maybe the head can be tilted like the grendizer head hehe. @mr Ginrai: The tryder G7 set is one of the items i picked up, when i saw it, i did not give it a second thought, it is really a very beautiful set ;D best doe

Some beautiful jumbos in those pictures.
That Grendizer is especially interesting. The colors on the belt decal appear to be extremely sharp for a 35+ year old toy.

You can make a couple of the prices if you look closely at the photos..
Grendizer 252,000 yen
Poseidon 168,000 yen

I saw those prices.........I love the blue waist Grendy but not for $252000yen. The Poseidon is priced a lot better but still no bargain, although the demand justifies the price, I guess. YJ & even E-Bay offer better prices.
