Hi all comrades, this thread is for all who spotted any JMs hang around in the public, toy shops, garbage dump etc...it always feel different spotting a JM live as compared to online listings. Here are some photos of my JM hunting in Japan few days ago. Seriously it is increasingly rare in Japan nowadays, to all bros holding on to your prized assets, continue to do so. Here is the ball rolling: A Raideen and a Boxed Mazinger hidden at a corner.

The Astro set of 4 JM at the bottom shelf...I am particulary attracted to the white one...any one here with more info and history of this set and what is the reasonable price of these JMs...please kindly let me know i am pretty interested. The shop owner do not want to break the set and only selling all together and my wallet cant handle them all ;D

Seems like the spazer is ulra hot even in japan. I saw a banner in the shop hunting for JMs..in any condition (i am guessing the japanese words). At the top, in particular looking for the Garada for 2million yen buy in and the Spazer for 1million yen buy in. Well even japanese toy shop is willing to buy in the spazer for cash 1million yen, my dream of the spazer is faltering ... I might as well just buy the banner to admire the spazer

I like this thread very much! Those toy stores have some really nice inventory. I am very shocked but excited to know that toy store owners in Japan are looking to buy jumbos. They recognize the rarity of the Jumbo and know that many people are looking for them. I think Jumbos are rising in price again and 2013 will be a tough year for bargains.

Man, those pictures are neat! I've never seen many of those Jumbos before. I'm not an authority on the subject, but I've looked at lots of pictures on the RJ board and can't recall ever seeing some of them.

It is pretty wild to have bounty posters for jumbos. Sure puts a perspective on where prices are still going to go, well at least on the most rare of jumbos.

That set of four Machine Blaster robot Jumbos looks like custom work to me.
All of the bodies/upper arms are from Mattel Euro Goldoraks.

I have seen those 4 on this site somewhere. there was a collector that had an amazing collection and he had those guys. I remember thinking to my self at the time that if I had one of those i could make a Goldorak. That was before I actually got one. I will dig around and see if I can find the pictures again.

Nowadays, seems that every jumbo except for the Mattel Shogun Warriors, are getting harder to find. The banner over the toy store requesting jumbos is similar to the kiosks we see here in the malls of America advertising 'Cash for Gold'!! Some jumbos, in a sense, are turning into gold!

There are REAL versions of these guys too you know. They are mini Jumbos by Takemi called Machine Blusters,a typo for Machine Blasters.A modern Diecast of Bosspalder was made by CMS recently,I own it very nice. Here are the mini Jumbo versions.
