Very excited to have found a very good condition Godsigma on eBay last week. This was the first robot toy my grandparents bought me at Mr. Big Toyland when I was just a kid watching force five on channel 25. But as a kid I destroyed my toys so my original one was pretty wrecked. Now I have a replacement with the original box and everything. Only the back silver fin is missing, but overall it's in really great shape!
I'll post some pics tomorrow from the computer.
Just felt like sharing, Timmy

Congrats! This ST toy is pretty nice, with hidden firing features in the legs. I only have a loose beater missing the wing set. Would love to upgrade one day. I know of one MAJOR Godsigma fan on this board who would appreciate your pickup immensely (repairtechjon, I'm looking at you!)

Giggity Giggity Goo! Nice pickup Tim! Godsigma was a nostalgic memory for me too, as my best friend and fellow robot nut at the time, had the good taste, and open mind to pick up a DX Godaikin Godsigma, which we knew NOTHING about in the 80s. Thought it was some sort of weird wanna-be Transformer, haha. I never got one as a kid. But when the huge Godaikin box, and big heavy toy was busted out, all the TF's in our mock battles, suddenly looked puny! Many years later, as a an adult, a memory fired up about that toy, and I found ebay(whee!) and my first purchase was a GodBot DX. Getting it was cool, but when I finally started finding legit Bandai/Popys, with the quality, and beautiful box art, I was really feeling the nostalgia. Reclaiming that feeling of getting a mysterious toy. Then I found out about ST's, and how cool, heavy, and different they were, and....uh oh! ...10 yrs later I look back over my shoulder at stacks and shelves of stuff, ..HOLY FRIJOLES!! Where'd all this junk come from?? But yeah, Godsigma, with his blockiness, super cool, slightly mean looking samurai helmet, wide red wings, etc, someting about the character was always a little more mysterious, and cool to me, compared to many other bot designs of the day. Would love to see a pic of your GB17 in it's enviroment when ya get it! I have a bunch of weird knock-off variation STs and packaging I'll take pics of for fun comparison if you like.
