Project Genesis Planet X (WFC Omega Supreme)

Packaging is amazing.
Quality is amazing.
Weight is amazing.
Transformation is amazing.

I think it's the most impressive 3rd party toy I've ever handled, and I've pretty much handled them all at one point or another (and never mind I've always been a fan of big toys). I was going to say it's as good as a true Transformer, but no, HasTak would never offer something that good and complex at that size. The only downside: the LEDs that can't be turned off when they're in. So either you play with all lights in and on or you put them aside. But the gimmick is still pretty cool, with all the LEDs in, it makes for an impressive sight. And there are several nice little touches like the 6 hidden cannons, the Autobot symbol plate that rotates to unlock the chest panel, the head/tank and how it hides inside the body, the ring that turns clockwise when you spin the claws counterclockwise, how the wings have been integrated in the design, the overall articulation, how all the parts lock together, etc.

This one is a bit of a mystery: the tank can transform into something that looks like this, for no apparent reason.

My consideration about buying this one or not is that it seems a bit top heavy. Any thoughts on this?

He is top heavy, but the joints are strong enough to support the figure. As posted on other boards, he can even lift Hercules with one arm over his head.

tempting to get, but very expensve for a 3rd party one, but i think its worth. si the base / rocket mode is not included in tha manuals right?

When I first saw this picture, I thought that Planet X released a voyager version of Genesis. Then I realized it was a huge bootleg DOTM MEgatron ;D

Genesis is super nice, it's true. Everything on this guy feels premium quality and the way the lights pop in is pretty slick.

ok i have to say that the comparison shot of Genesis with DotM Megatron totally confuse me. is that megatron a giant bootleg or is Omega Supreme that small?

Indeed, quality looks impressive and joints are very thight (have a look at 10:00 on video).
Design is really not my taste but once again, 3rd Party makers outclass Hasbro...

It's a giant bootleg (40cm tall), I just put it there to mess up with you guys.

I think the head as a triple changer is a nifty idea. If his arm turns into one giant rocket ship, why not his head into a stealth fighter too?

Expansion set coming for the Genesis (FOC Omega Supreme). One of the new accessories of the accessory set will be a face plate to make it more game accurate.
