that is so AWESOME! i even saw the word TAKARA on the bottom right corner when they were showing the audio comparisons. that is what i want to see. fluid motions of mechas and cool transformations. and on top of that. im speechless. ;D if you need another link for the same trailer. here is one. uk.promotions.yahoo.com/transformers/hope this helps. .

It's hard to get excited over the footage they show in this teaser. I said as much when I posted it on my blog yesterday...

The transformers look cool when they are moving. A lot of screaming humans. Good Visuals
What I want is an MP-06 movie base Optimus Prime -(made by Takara) with lots of shiny metal

Barely one line of dialogue in the trailer, a terrible director, overzealous special effects, looks to me like unbearable popcorn fodder. If it is even one tenth as endearing as the animated movie I'll eat my hat...I'll probably still go and see it though

I think we can all agree that the insect-looking thing chasing the guys in the desert certainly doesn't remind any of us of the Transformers that we love and are accustomed to. It looks more like War of the Worlds to me. However, they're may be some decent renderings of transformers(like Prime) in the movie also, maybe some even quite impressive. Overall, there will most likely be some designs we hate and some that we love, but it sure will be nice to see giant transformers in a live action movie regardless. I just hope Bay makes the movie badass and doesn't make it silly or stupid. If it's got a good story and he keeps it serious(and isn't some horsecrap action/pop-corn movie like Armageddon), then I'll be satisfied. Regardless of what we've seen so far or up until the release, I'm sure most of us will go have a look. If the movie is awful, I'll go find Bay's car and take a big dump on the hood, then place one of the awful new designs deep in it. Hopefully the fingers will be individually articulated so I can setup the middle one perfectly.

Great trailer. At least with Michael Bay behind the wheel we know we'll get a mindless action-soaked adventure with a plot that has more holes than swiss cheese.
I like to look at this as if TFs were real and on Earth. The TFs we know and love are a cartoon alternate version. It's nice to see the technology in film-making be as advanced to make somewhat convincing characters.

Have you heard the "Make Prime Speak" section? I don't know but Prime sounds really old (understandably though) now, I remember him having more "balls" when he spoke.
