Christian Jacobs, front man for the band/tv show Actors the Aquabats. Co-creator of Yo Gabba Gabba, former child actor(was in Pretty in Pink & Gleeming the Cube), artist, surfer & skateboarder. Child of the 70's also has the Japanese Toy love.

I see Dragun, Gaiking, Garada, Mazinger Z(w/Scrander), Godzilla, a big Ultramanand plenty of other Japanese toys(Red Baron).

And check out their real cool toy commercial utilizing a heavily modded Gaiking & Dragon with Raydeen & Goldorak bits with some of the Popy Accessories. Love how they reversed the Gaiking torso to create the Garada'esque chest ball gimmick!

They used to use clips from the JM commercials and some Grendizer TV clips in their live set background screen. Love that band, seen them dozens of times all over the US. I was in the crowd for the show they taped in Pomona to use on Aquabats Super Show.
