If any Grendizer fans haven't seen this new USB device offering from Alen Yen, then please take a look.
I am in for one and hoping they get their goal.
Since it wasn't something I was offering, didn't believe the "For Sale" would been the best spot for this cool item.

I love it, me want one! Wish I could hack some of my bots to become USB sticks, I'd turn my SOC display stands into USB docks. zozo-mag

This is the first Kickstarter I've ever backed. You gotta be careful with crowd-funding because technically, you're putting your money behind a "idea" or a "promise." There are no guarantees. But Alen Yen and Incubot had previously delivered the Tetsujin28/Gigantor USB key and the Voltron/GoLion one too, so I'm pretty convinced they'll deliver on this one. Plus, the video they posted hits all the right notes: license-acquired, production prototypes already done, packaging already designed... they just need a hand getting production up and running.

Why didn't they reach out here at RJ? If it wasn't for buorno, I wouldn't have known abut this effort.

Promoting here on R-J does make sense, and should've been done, but a lot of these projects get stuck on just Facebook-land etc. and forums get less promotional thought sadly. Nice that bourno posted it up.
Onto this Grendizer, yes Alen's a solid guy, and prepares well, and gets stuff done. No reservations about this Grendizer project. I backed this project early on to get a nice batch of goodies in the end. It'll be a cool thing to get made.
The other Incubot projects have been great, and I've been happy to back them all so far, including the 1st runs of the vinyl sofubi Nekosaur, various USB Nekobots, the 2 Voltrons, T-28, and now this. And I want that new Voltron key!!

The previous projects can be seen at the main site: www.incubot.comThere is an Incubot Facebook page/group also. Go back to the kick starter link above, as just yesterday they added a short video of Alen showing the progression of the USB s they've made to date. Watching that vid was the first time I realized that this Grendy drive is a plastic toy, and not rubber like the 1st ones. I must be slow...derr...

Finished up well last night!
Looking forward to checking this little grendizer gadget out soon. It'll be cool to see what European variant box they decide to play around with later on. ...and the Voltron Lion key USB!

I really wanted to get one but I seriously have no use for a USB stick anymore with Box.net and Dropbox. Why didn't they make these in 2000!?

This project turned out quite well! Got my order last month, and will post some pics of toys and boxes. The Lion Key is cool, correct size, but I'll love it when a diecast one is produced ! The Grendizer Shogun Warrior style packaging is real cute.
