Go billy lol! I just find that cases built for books are sturdier made because they need to hold a lot of weight so I don't get all paranoid that shelves might break. Bad thing is they get dusty easier then sealed units but that just forces me to dust and actually interact with my collection instead of just staring at them.

I also recommend the Billy from Ikea. Reasonably priced and there are plenty of options available. And like Chen has said they are very sturdy. In my case though they are full and I need to get another one soon

I didn't know it was Billy, and apparently I do have couple of them but they don't have doors like Chen's. I got it from my wife's aunt more then 10 years ago...

It's ridiculous that amiami wants 3900y for sal shipping and hlj is only 2080 I always thought amiami was pretty legit with their shipping prices but that extra discount they give u just ends up in shipping.. Oh well rather buy from hlj now and throw it in the warehouse

The shipping difference is based on the materials used. Amiami boxes are heavier and don't use airbag packing.
Still, often even with shipping cheaper from hlj I have found amiami cheaper. You mileage may vary however

Their surprise shipping fees were always ridiculously higher than HLJ. }|

Well, I got it today. QC sucks big on mine. Styrofoam pieces stuck to "wet" painted parts, like the horns, belt, and cape. Sword holding hands not able to hold the sword tightly, AND, not very secure in their pegs. Box crushed in one corner (mine came from Anime-Export). I am not impressed at all. Oh well, like I said before, I really don't care much for it anyway... }|

That sucks! Yeah the paint on my horns felt tacky like there wasn't enough dryer mixed in with the paint and it never cured right. Oh Aoshima I guess the your hey days are over.

Gee, I thought it was just my bad luck, mine also came with a piece of styro stuck near the one of the eyebrow, so it is lighter in color after I unstuck and clean that area...

I might just paint the horns gold to match the gold already on the figure.

I might just paint the horns gold to match the gold already on the figure. Yes I find the "pukey tan" color on the horns a bit replulsive actually, might do the same Chen.
