Does anyone know how much a GB-35 Golion in Near Mint condition might be worth? I have one and I may consider selling it but can't really find one to get an estimate of the value on. Any help would be appreciated!

Loose or boxed and complete or incomplete? Makes a difference.

Boxed and complete with both fists and all inserts. Box is in good condition too with only a little shelf wear around the edges. Chrome is still shiny and no paint scratches.

Nice piece that is! You'll want to re-post this in the vintage diecast forum to get proper responses.
Besides that, safe general price for most popular ST diecasts, including the GoLion, is around $125-$165 boxed & good condition. Sure some ST Popys bomb out under $100, and several more desirable rare ones hit $225-$500, but fairly easy to find GoLion, Dairugger, Combattler, Godsigma , etc, usually hit the normal range.

I'm a Voltron lover... I would say the same. Remember, there is was a Popy and a Bandai (Toei) version. The Bandai was broader at the chest by a few mms.

Well, that's the thing. There was a 1980's remake of the GA-01 that Popy did make with this box that looks like this. toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/popy_data/ga/ga01.htm The seller I got this from was based in Japan, and I did ask several people on this board about it several years ago. They seemed to think it was legit, but I've always wondered about it's authenticity. I do have a loose one of these GA-01's which I know for sure is real, and they're pretty much identical.

Thanks for the link, I remember agonizing about this back then, too. One leg wasn't particularly shorter than the other. But yeah, I do remember the main difference between my two Mazingers is their waist stickers. The loose one had a dull silver sticker, but this one has a chrome sticker. I'm going to look to see if I can find my other one and take side-by-sides, but it might be in storage.

Thanks for sharing kingboyD. As mentioned in the article, i was one of those collector's who are afraid to get it for fear that we get the bootleg one, hence i have be standing by the sidelines all the years just to play it safe. Guess that really explains the popularity of the mazinger with the number of KOs we get in the market.

And to make matters worse, I don't think that the bootlegs are limited to the box type that gpa showed. While that is the most prevalent, I think that I might have seen KOs in other boxes too! Scary.

Yeah, it definitely is a huge bummer.
