Maybe they will revive the 1/48 line. not bad but they have to retool the lineup in order to lure the fans from buying them again...... ;D

I think they about produce everything under the sun when it comes to original macross. Its time for them to unleash valks ver 3 of one sixtieth scale back to diecast with ver 2 engineering atleast.

It depends. If Arcadia decides to start releasing and continuing in the same tradition, you'll see new updated versions of the old toys that make the v1 and v2 less expensive.
If arcadia stops releasing yamatos.. then yes, they will skyrocket.
VF-0's are going for 300-400 on ebay right now.
Vf-11c's are impossible to find.
The rarer runs will shoot way up.

Can someone tell me why the vf-11c is so tough to get? Was it that popular?

Just made in lesser numbers, it wasn't the "hero" version so they didn't make as many. I guess the average run of a Yamato Valk is between 10-15,000 while they probably only made 5,000 of the VF-11C.

Can someone tell me why the vf-11c is so tough to get? Was it that popular? It's a combo of factors that you usually see that makes any toy rare. 1. Limited runs - as indicated above the VF-11 thunderbolt was a "cannon fodder" valk, like the brownies in the original show. They weren't seen as being desired, so they made less of them. The VF-11b had larger runs because it had more show time in both + and Frontier. the C didn't have much show time. 2. Design - Personally this is the only new Valk that really impresses me as an older Macross fan. I hate the 19's and 22's. They are just too anime/modern for my tastes. It's very simple and minimal and looks really hot with the grey fast packs. The VF-11b is grey, so grey on grey looks.. meh. The 11c looks like some futuristic NASA shuttle with the whites and blacks. I think it has a high appeal to American collectors with more money (older). It also reminds me a bit of the shuttles in the original show. Combine those two things and it's a highly coveted toy. I got one for $95 dollars a couple of weeks ago. So I'm pretty happy haha

Yamato is GONE. Rumor is that Arcadia will carry their torch. Whether the torch for Macross will remain the same is still to be seen. Arcadia did announce a VF-1 toy with gimmicks last week, but whether it is 1/60 or if it transforms has not been revealed. Mind you the revealed toy had a pretty crazy color scheme and graphics that's not to everybody's tastes.
Other than that, a lot is up in the air regarding the future of Yamato's old molds. At least they went out with a bang in the VF-4G.
It's been a crazy few months for Macross fans trying to pick up what their collection is still missing in a hurry.

I love the original VF-1s due to nostalgic reasons, but the colour scheme and graphics is not right for me on this one, and I will most probably skip it.
