Jeff,
When did you get these? I'm no expert, and I thought that any toy with a Godaikin release is pretty much a Popy version reboxed.
Did you get these second hand? Because if you did it would seem that someone went through a ton of trouble before you got them to put a mint godaikin in a mint popy box, which is far fetched.
Is the guy trying to get money back? Does he have poor feedback? Right now I don't buy what he is saying.
I have two MIB Godaikin Voltes downstairs right now. I'm going to take a quick look now. Anyone else that can take a look or offer advice please chime in.

Okay I just checked.
I have two MIB Godaikin Voltes V sets. Both were purchased second hand by me but they were purchased from original owners who were non collectors, and I purchased them right after they were pulled from being stored for years. So I doubt mine have been swapped at all.
The first set I have is what I believe to be a later set (I could be wrong) because it has the white plastic accessory trays.
The panzer from my white tray set looks the same (waist decal, details) except my triangle voltes v sticker is somewhat transparent. The red triangle leg stickers on this one are shiny chrome though. I didn't notice this before. See below:

My second set is what I believe to be an earlier set because it has black accessory trays like I have seen on popy and early godaikin release Voltes sets but this is just me speculating. Both black and white trays could have been used at any time but it seems like they appear in the way I said they do.
Anyways this set is a little different. I have the same waist decal and the same transparent Voltes v triangle sticker, but my red triangle leg stickers are flat/solid colored, they are not shiny chrome at all.

I uploaded these because it was hard to see colors on your pics on my phone. I'll try to check yours again from my iPad or laptop later.
Hope this helps so far!

Thanks for the help. I am not super crazy about these sticker details. I just don't want any trouble once the buyer receive the toy. It's easier if I just call it off before I sent it. I got these from YJ and I believe it to be mint. But I just want to be sure.
Again, thanks.

Yes, I issued a refund and put the guy in my DND (do not deal) list... I had the same feeling that the guy would just file a claim with eBay/Paypal. Someone needs to come up with a better place to sell things.

Hi. I checked my Popy and Godaikin Panzers; the only difference is the #3 sticker which is metallic silver background in Popy and blue in Godaikin. It seems yours is metallic silver by the looks of it.
