Thanks for all the help and concerns.. Rj members are really humble and helpful members.. Once again im glad that i had found this site.. Maybe i'll just cancel this one and find a original popy version of it.. Glad it was some help. All depends on the price the seller is willing to let go. I got a couple more shots to upload finally. Earth King, Obvious forehead, and belt buckle differences: Thunder King- obvious upper leg paint job difference. The GodBot has all chrome upper legs seen on right.:

These photo comparisons are great! I always wanted to see a side-by-side comparison of these. Can we throw these up on the website as an article so they will be easy to reference in the future?

Some seldom seen oddities: Hope it's interesting, I'm on a roll now with the bins open, haha. These individual boxed single bots from the DX set, are the Taiwan run quality, but have the "God Sigma" name on them like the first set in this thread, so likely the same time period. Popy never did single sets like this, that I'm aware of for GodSigma, but I wish they had. Funny enough, these KO single sets, do not include the needed parts to finish the DX combined mode, such as the Sigma Punches, big sword, or jet/wings/sheild/chest piece. (FYI- I slept on a couple auctions couple years ago, and need the Ocean King / Kaimei-OH single box still. If seen, let me know! ) Before going further, I must share the safety message, so no one reading this thread gets hurt LOL: These have no licensing marks, or where they're made.

A shot of the Sigma Punch gauntlet comparison. Popy GodSigma on top, Left and Right thumbs can be seen. Godbot Taiwan on bottom, different shade of blue, and both are Left fists. Almost all Godbots are found like this.

Jon thanks for the fist pictures. I have a pile of godsigma parts that I need to ID as Popy/godaikin or Taiwan versions. Hoping they end up being real ones and then I can just pick up a godaikin godsigma missing some pieces.

Hi All, I have recently bought the DX Godsigma complete, but without the instruction and catalog. I was wondering if someone here could do a high resolution scan and post it here. This would be greatly appreciated.

Good shots, thanks for sharing closeups of this box variant. Inside box lid, tray, and toy parts, are all just regular GodBot stuff. No variant there. What you bought was that cool wackadoodle outer box, with the "GoNaikin" and upper left Japanese GodSigma show logo. Very cool. Bummed I slept on getting to that seller. He was definitely asking way too much at first, thinking he was selling an actual GodSigma Godaikin toy.
As for your questions about the molds, yes , see xtrlow's comments on the 1st page of this thread. All made at various years from the same molds, just with out the official stamps still in. I'm guessing the $290.00 price sticker is another country's price, maybe Taiwan or HK dollars, in which case it was more normal $30-40 US price range. Anyone recognize the store logo on the price sticker?
The common GodBot, usually found on ebay and toyshops, the outer box is a straight rip of the Popy DX box, but with Engrish writing instead of Japanese, and is the older design.
These 2 variants brought up in this thread, 1st one (pics are gone now), was a Popy looking, GodBot box, but actually had the "GodSigma" written in bold(not "God Siguma" like on the Popy) Now you've got a GodBot with imitation Godaikin outer box, so likely was made a couple years after the Popy rip, when the Godaikin line actually got launched.

Is this the box your talking about? I have looked into this and I was told it is an actual popy with made in JAPAN on the bots

There could be some out there that are Popy, but sold in Euro market or some such, but the box pic in your above post looks the same as the pics that started this thread ( and can't be seen now, argh!) which turned out to just be another variant cover on the Taiwan Godbot. It had "Toei" studio marking, but not Popy.

Whoops , just expanded your above pic on my phone screen. That's got the "Ceppi Ratti" marking of legit Italian licensed release. The box that started this thread was a smidge different.

Just bumping this after I nearly fell off my chair the other day. Venson in Taiwan posted some pics on FB, from a friend's collection, and in there had 2 Taiwan GodBot ST sized variants I had only dreamed existed somewhere:
One was a cool box variant of the ST "deluxe" layout tray, that Agin has a couple on ebay of,
Second, and most exciting! was an actual ST sized combiner in mini DX layout styro tray!! I'll see if they don't mind me trying to share pics here. I have a new hunt now.Doh.
