My latest acquisitions

Thought some folks might be interested in seeing what just arrived off a slow boat from Asia..



The accessory set case is in very nice shape however it was missing a couple of items from the collection which is why I picked up the XX-2 and XX-10 sets to help fill out the gaps. With those two added in, the only piece missing from it now is the XX-7 Dynamite charger.

The Astro Mu Capsule Robo wasn't on my "must have" list but I found it incomplete for a decently low price so I grabbed it.

It was missing the mini figures, missiles and most obviously the right hand however as fate would have it I had just received this batch of "junk" accessories on literally the day that this jumbo came up for auction.

So because of that completely unrelated prior purchase, I was able to reunite our poor one armed jumbo with his missing appendage.

I also went ahead and obtained a single Nakajima missile and will use it as the basis for a set of reproduction missiles to dress out the figure with over the next few weeks.

In that parts lot, I see what appears to be a Scrander wing
and a lower Gakeen leg (yellow band on the foot, red knee joint).
Just playing "ID the Mystery Part". ;D

The Nakajima JMs are great.CRG is a really nice piece. I need to score one of the guys for in the head.I like that they put the vinyl mini figure villains in with each one too, nice to have targets for your missiles. Good score.

That is pretty sweet to have the right arm in the junk pile and then get the jumbo that was missing that.

Really nice score, congrats. You will need to find a little figure to put inside the head now.

I was definitely both happy and surprised when the CRG showed up for auction just as I was sorting out the delivery of the lot with the missing arm in it. Especially since I originally only bought the lot of parts for the ZZ-2 fist and Scramble Dash wing.

Just a case of pure serendipity.

The box even has most of the original packing material with it as well (the cardboard inserts which hold the jumbo in place).
