sadly the only game i' am interest is halo 5 and the panzer dragoon, but the console itself has push me away to get it not been more of a user friendly and as well the price for it is terrible.

AS LONG AS THE PS4 IS REGION FREE LIKE THE PS3 I'LL BE A SUPER ROBOT WARS PLAYING FOOL THAT'S FOR SURE. SO I WOULD SUGGEST STOCK UP ON YOUR OLD CONSOLES YOU LOVE BECAUSE GAMING AS WE NO IT IS AT A END OF AN ERA.

AND FOR THAT XBOX 1 TV THING HELL THEIR ARE SOME TVS OUT THERE WITH ALL THE STREAMING AND APPS AND WHATEVER ELSE THEIR LOADING ON TO THEM NOW ANYWAYS, EVEN BLUE RAY PLAYERS AND OTHER STORE BOUGHT DEVICES CAN DO EVERYTHING BUT PLAY GAMES.BUT WHAT MICROSOFT DOS'NT REALIZE IS PEOPLE LOVE GADGETS AND 1 XBOX 1 TO RULE THEM ALL IS NOT GOING TO FLY.

It is still 5 months aways until both consoles come out, Microsoft really should re-think their $499 price starting point!

But honestly, you can say that about any game that's a sequel. Most sequels are nothing more that just an update or expansion. They just don't come out with the consistency as "Call of Duty". And Activision can do this because they have two studio working on the title. I mean, there is a new Madden game every year and sports games are pretty much the same every year. Every couple years you get a "Uncharted" game and while the story continues, there isn't much change. Games like Devil May Cry or Grand Theft Auto, the core gameplay didn't change, they just update the graphic and tweak the story. Anyway, I wouldn't be buying any of these console during their initial release. Never have and never will. For me, I start buying the systems when the price drops. Usually it a couple years after into the consoles release. I have all three of the previous generation consoles, PS3, 360 and the Wii, not one was purchased during their initial release. But out of the three system, the only one I still use consistently is the 360. Just over all better online experience. One last thing on "Call of Duty", it isn't so much as brainwashed, but more of a pride thing, I took the time to learned how to play the game, and developed a skill set. Like a Street Fighter Player, it's much more fun to beat up an actual human controlled player versus playing against AI or computer programming. |

Speaking of Sony selling stuff cheaper, where's that PS3 price drop? Did I miss the announcement? My old fat PS3 got annoyingly loud again and I'd rather ditch it for a sleeker sexier silent(er?) new model than do another thermal paste job on it. Well, I'll repair the old one anyway, but I still want a new one as my main console. |

Doesn't make a difference. They were out to screw/control everyone from the beginning. Now they are just back pedaling - they already look like complete asses, they just don't want to lose any more money. I don't know how they ever thought their idea would work. I still wouldn't buy one. Really, would you trust them? |

I'm sure they'll wait to see if pre-orders after this most recent announcement rise, and if they don't, then they'll make another announcement that, because they listened and care so much for their fans, they decided to lower the price to match that of the PS4. But until then, they will save it and only use it if necessary.

There was a poll somewhere my brother read and still over 50% of people said they would not buy an Xbox one.
My guess is that if even if they go so far as to price match, they'll do another 180 and turn all the bad stuff on in a year, or more appropriately f*ck everyone by doing it just before Halo 5 comes out.

my Gold sub expired at the beginning of October. I haven't renewed. Now I am seeing 1 yr is slashed in price and a bunch more freebies. I wont resub until i see what actual Xbox 1 owners have to say about the machine/kinect and games.
