Won this LJN Voltron off of EBay. FINALLY found one with the wings and sword. Condition was perfect but dirty as hell and missing/peeling stickers. 2 trips thru the dishwasher and a disassembly and hand cleaning. Repro decal set from WillOhio and repro missles and holder from ShogunPlastics equals a Go-Lion! Now all I need to do is find a real beater Go-Lion off of YJ (i know good luck..) to swipe the missle launching lion hand heads from and I'll be set. Oh I also added weights to his legs to give the heft of a Jumbo. Just took a nod from Unifive and bound together a few washers on a setm and wrapped them in plastic and slip them in. BEFORE AFTER

That looks great!! Quick question; what type of adhesive did you use to adhere the missile docks to the legs?
Thanks,

The docks are same ones as the shoulder missile docks on the 2nd and 3rd edition Mazingas. They have 2 screws that hold them in place. I predrilled holes for them then re attached and screwed in the legs to the body then applied the thigh stickers that cover the screws and then screwed in the missile docks. Ill take a pic when I get home.

Nice looking Voltron. I was considering if I should do the leg missile launchers, being that I have a spare Mazinger. The only thing keeping me from going through with it is that I don't have the mouth firing devices for the arms/lion heads. If someone has a method to customize the firing/mouth mechanisms on the LJN please let me know. Thanks and enjoy your newly reconditioned Lions. I looks great!!

Almost wish I'd gone with the Popy stickers now. Ah well. I'll just have to find another Voltron and Popy him out.

I'm actually working on another that I've had for yeeears that is unfortunately missing his wings. But I'm going to do repro Voltron stickers so I have one of each. Then I'll find him wings later. Anyone here do replro wings?

Yep, doing a shooter for GoLion has been on my list, but haven't asked around to borrowing one to copy. Best for getting one and making a nice replica of it.
