Hello RobotJapan community!
This is my first post on this forum and I would like to say that from what I have read thus far, RobotJapan seems like a very supportive, friendly and fun community to be involved with.
I was wondering if you all could please assist me with my first restoration (very exciting!)
I am in the same boat as AcroRay.
I have purchased some Shogun Warriors from a market. It is clear that they need some love and work, but I do see some potential.
I would like to clarify what I have read to see if this is correct:
Remove scratches: - Use Turtle Wax/Cut and Polish and gently rub over spots?
Cleaning the robots: - Water to get rid of the dirt - Use WD40/Amor All and other protective products for shine?
Removing plastic edgings: - Sandpaper finer than 400 or 600 grit
Thanking you all kindly,
ch4n

What you are asking isn't uncommon. There are plenty of past threads related to restoration. Try the search feature if you don't have the time to peruse. Go through the pages and pages of restoration threads first. There are several experts here on this site.
