I believe it was confirmed. But no prototype pics yet. I think everyone's waiting on that for that and scale (hopefully fitting inline with everything else).

They were quite faithful to the G1 designs with the other Masterpieces, I don't expect them to change direction with this one. Plus, if they're on good terms with Volkswagen now, it would give them the excuse to make a "New" Beetle Bumblebee in another line. Not sure which one, though. There's already an Alternity Bumblebee, the awkward busty Swift Bumblebee (I like it anyway, but its robot mode does look weird), but it's not like Habro and Takara are afraid of redundancy. Just thinking out loud here. I'm not saying it will actually happen.

wow it looks like he has a gun as well originally VW did not want there stuff associated with anything violent and did not want bumblebee to have an sort of weapons. it is nice to see them finally change that

The bumblebee reveal image is a fake. Someone edited an image from a toy show from couple years back when Lambor was revealed. TFW had more info on this.

Finally, an official confirmation. I hope Magnus follows suit.
Slightly OT, I thought the generations Wheeljack was pretty good as well. Just re-shell it with a Lancia Stratos, and you're good to go. It's a whole lot tighter than my reveal the shield Tracks, even if slightly shorter.

Mmmmh, yumy. Hope missile launcher is included with the figure. Wonder what minimum paint jobs it will get. Green and red strips for sure, but what about sponsors stickers ?  At the time, I had customized my Binaltech Wheeljack with reprolabels set : perfect combo !  The only modern feature I like on this character is on his Prime version : mouth mask slides when comes the battle. |

Seems like MP BB & Wheeljack took a long time after initial announcement to get any released info. It is not until now that we get a Wheeljack silhouette. But it looks very good as usual. All these 'perfect' proportion MP releases slowing make my Generations collection being obselete. About to rearrange my display cabinet, and I am slowly thinking of removing all the Bineltechs & Generations/Classics/United from display to make room for the coming MPs.
The TF modern G1 collecting is such a long progress. 10-15 years in, and we finally start getting what we want in the first place, while burning a lot of money on placeholders to keep us entertained...

if wheeljack is done right sunstreaker shouldnt be a problem since they sorta share the same lower half transformation.

Sunstreaker is the one I'm really waiting for! The CHUG Sideswipe and Sunstreaker really look good together, I bet that the masterpiece versions will as well!
