Will there be a toy line for the movie? If so by who?
Collector toys or "kid" toys?

NECA got the license. They're doing a line of 7" figures and a supersized 18" version of the main 'bot. All plastic. Not really "kid toys", but usually far from ultra-high-end collectors figures. Don't get me wrong. They're nice, really nice, but not "ThreeA nice". But they're also far from "Three priced".

Not sure if these are for me, just curious who had em and what they were doing.
The bots are ok, but is it just me that thinks they could've been better? Would've loved to see meca workshops designs on big screen. I guess I'll hold my opinion till I see the movie.

I know Sideshow is releasing some statues. I was really hoping for a gokin of these bad boys. The NECA toys look tempting though

I'm stoked for the movie, and I hope it brings a new enthusiasm for Robot movies.. but the mecha designs are terrible haha

I'm stoked for the movie, and I hope it brings a new enthusiasm for Robot movies.. but the mecha designs are terrible haha I 2 was hoping this would bring enthusiasm for robot movies. I just worry if may do the opposite, the robots seem bland and the trailer didn't do much to excite me. |

Really pumped for the movie!!! I'm not really in to most of the newer bots but I may end up with the 18" Jaeger. He looks pretty cool and has some size to him. I wish these companies would come out with more of the "bad guys" in the larger sizes!

I saw the 3 smaller figures in TRU today. Was close to buying two, but stopped myself. Nice, but I guess just not for me. The bits not nice enough on his own, and I have a bad feeling I'm not going to be that into the film although I will check it out and hope I'm wrong. As mentioned, the world needs more robit mecha movies!
I couldn't walk away from Springer. First transformer I've brought in a long time. So much for staying focused :/

i also saw on my TRU the figure of pacific rim, i have to say they look pretty cool specially the Kaiju which he could fit with the Sh Monster arts pretty nice.
wish the robots where made in diecast and had better articulation though, i would'nt mind at all to see those guy on the SoC or SRC line TBH.

Just saw the movie. Pretty awesome. And I'm so surprised there is no SOC of these bad boys.
I might get the 18" figure. But I'm figuring to wait til it is release and I hear from you bro what you think of it.
