Wow, it looks beautiful, like pure ice! Is it Chrome-plated? What made you decide to make a chrome SRC Mazinger? zozo-mag

that's pretty awesome looking.
did you dismantle it completely to chrome it? and if so how did you manage to do so?

Very cool. Looks good. But it looks like you accidentally chromed your ring too!! So it looks like the chest piece and the wings did not take the chroming process as well as the other parts. I assume that's because the plastic is different? Did it affect maneuverability/posibility?

I think the chest piece and wings don't look too bad. I think it looks funny in the pic because the light hits those straight on (flat surfaces) rather than bending around and shining off like it does on the round surfaces. Looks good!

thank you all,... what i did was, 1. dismantle it completely 2. separate the plastic and metal parts 3. remove all the original paint jobs on plastic and metal parts 4. toss away the hands and feet joints part (dark grey is safe) 5. do the full chrome process for the metal parts, this is the easy part. 6. do the full chrome on the plastic parts, this is hard, too long on the process will melt them 6. check for detailing, if it has any dent or whatsoever, repeat from step 3 7. when they all done, assemble them again.
like i said before, this is not done yet, i'm still working on it.
the plastic parts was the hardest to deal with.
let's just hope everything turns OK!
cheers!

Even now, while the work is still in progress, that chromed SRC Maz still looks beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished result! zozo-mag

This is just sweet! I like the chrome version you made! Will it be an expensive project to make one?

This is just sweet! I like the chrome version you made! Will it be an expensive project to make one? it's quite cheap, it cost me for like $50 to get one done, of course it will be a lot cheaper for the next one, since i know what went wrong. but doing this chrome process will took a lot of time. cheers!
