Hi everyone!
I hope someone can share some information on this, i hope i posted this at the right section.
Does anyone know how much does a dx liverobo in box cost? i have no idea how much is a reasonable price to pay for one. I'm quite confused as i have seen prices go up and down.
Thanks in advance! =)

I had never heard of liverobo so I had to google him. He looks like a rip off of Daltanious!

Pretty sure Daltanias came first. Liverobo sells for quite a bit MIB. Probably $250 and up (definitely expect to pay at least $200).

Is this what your talking about, a Liveman/Liverobo because here is one on eBay. Item #400501384387 or item #111017928906 Place numbers in the eBay search window to view.

xTIMMYxCOREx> Yea i also think that daltanious probably came first? i think liverobo is released in the late 80s? KingBoyD> ahh! 250?! i got an offer from a seller for 550, i was really hesitant to buy it because of the price but i dunno if it is the right price? seems like its a bit too pricey, what do u think? Xtrlowz75> i think the one you showed me is the plastic version, hmm the second item number seems to be invalid. anyways the one i am looking for is this one. www.flickr.com/photos/90981665@N08/8325978514/ i got the photo link from google.

pls be aware when buying, there is a knock-off version, the Bandai logo is replaced by Diecast (I think). In yahoo-japan these usually sell above 30K yen for a decent complete set.

oh, I meant to say the original Bandai ver sells around 30K yen. The knock-offs I would not pay more than USD100 for it... haha. I believe the plastic on the knock-off version is pretty inferior to the original but looks almost identical, only give away I can tell is the logo. I know one ebayer was trying to sell his knock-off for over USD850 a few years back, ouch!

seems like RJ already documented the "Die-Cast" version --> www.robot-japan.com/gallery/item/liveman-from-liverobo-2.htmlI had it, and I can say in all honesty the quality is no where near the real version and also bad qc, the legs (sky machine, that bird thingy) could not extend or something so I could not combine it. Waste of money that one. Gave away. yeah I was tempted to report that seller to ebay!

I think I paid like USD125 for the Diecast ver, to this day this remains my worst investment, hence there is so much I can rant with you.. haha. If I'm not mistaken the original version also comes with a bunch of character cards. Apparently this bot is much sought after in Japan, a really mint ones can go higher than 50K yen. Also there's an add-on set to combine the bot into an even bigger bot!. Let me see if I can scan the pics for you.

Man! After what you said, i think i never wanna own a KO chogokin! lol WOW really? 50k!? thats really pricey! i'm just curious why liveman seems to be much more expensive than some of the older robots?
the add-on robo is liveboxer right? lol he is one fat robot! but i really like his color scheme and design! I saw dx liveboxer in japan for about 15000yen and i did not buy it, now i am regretting my stupid decision! =(

Not all KO's are bad. The Lionbots, Godtron, Godbot, Godsphinx, and Protector are the knock offs of Voltron, God Marz, God Sigma, Daltanias and Gardian (in order). These KO's were made in the same factory as the original Godaikin versions, just after Bandai pulled their licensing. They do have a few parts and paint where corners were cut, but still very good quality. And they only run about $100 shipped from Taiwan on eBay with exception to Godsphinx. Its a little more rare and can run as much as a regular Daltanias, if complete.

Ah! oic! i was always tempted to get one godbot but maybe i'll try to find a original one first. It's interesting to know that these KO came from the same factory, hahaha so its not really a KO in a way! yea i saw some of the comparison photos on another post, and the paintjob is really very different. Thanks for info! now i know more! =)
