How to tell the various Lionbots apart?

I've seen that one before. Not often, but they are around. I was sure someone here had one. That is a great pickup though. Congrats. It's interesting the early KO with the bubbles though, as we know they later switched to the plastic tree/injection molded missiles.

Thats so weird. Your Lionbot directions show the V-Belt (rare to be pictured that way, most directions have a star belt regardless of actual black lion belt), but your black lion is actually the Diamond Belt. Wow that is cool. It looks to be in near-mint condition too! Nice buy.

Yep, Ive got 3 or 4 diamond belts with the V Belt on the cover of the manual. It is interesting that the clear plastic over the weapons has yellowed but none of the white has.On the two Popy ones that I have the white on the lions has yellowed but none of the clear plastic. This is at the top of my favorites and my number one best score. Here is a link to the auction and I had no more info than what is in the auction. He had a buy it now and had just listed it and I had a good hunch this was something I didn't want to pass on. Buy now ask questions later.
