Anybody have any idea how to remove the chest launcher on one of these? I read an old post on TBDX from a member there that said that after 20+ years sitting on a shelf his chest launcher "exploded" due to the launcher's spring's tension. The forearm springs are like this also. They launch literally the distance of a large room but the trade-off is that over time the pressure rips the stem of the fist. Thank you again Kitsir for those repros! Anyway I don't have a spinner projectile for my Jeeg anyway so I'd like to be proactive and remove this spring so that my launcher doesn't explode over time. There are the two screws on his back next to the launcher button that appear to hold the launcher in place. It looks like it should just slide forward from the front after they are removed. Mine does not though and I do not wish to force it. Not on a super expensive toy that is almost as old as I am. Anyone with any experience on this ?

Okay I figured it out. Just needed a litle heating of chest area to pop it out after unscrewing. Suffice to say that if anyone here has a Jumbo Jeeg do this immediately. Although my chest launcher hadnt yet exploded it was going to. All 3 screws that hold the actual launcher together inside the chest has cracks in the area they screw into. To the point that they were splitting open around the screws. After unscrewing the mechanism one screw hole just fell apart all together as I removed the screw. This is an easy fix. I'll post my process with pics later but I am easily reinforcing the screw holes.
