A friend of mine just ordered a 3D printer. He is going to help me create some replacement parts. For the first trial, I was thinking of having him make me the head crest and fists (both of which I am missing from mine). Can someone please post some close-up photos of these parts from various angles, and also possibly provide a few dimensions? For the fists, I will probably just have him create static closed fists (i.e., without the moving fingers). So pics of the fists in clenched mode would be great. Tab dimensions (where it goes into the arm) would be extremely helpful. He will have to get creative with his design, and these will definitely be distinguishable from the real deal. But he is a talented CAD designer, so I am hopeful he can create something interesting. Thanks!

Bump! I still need help, please. At least someone please post a pic of the head crest. All I can find are photos of it in the head - I can't find any of it loose. All photos are of the weapon with the x handle (does not fit in the head!). Thanks.
(And have no fear - my copy will not be anywhere near the quality of the original - it will definitively be distinguishable from the real deal. I am not trying to flood the market with repro parts. I am just trying to make my own toy displayable.)

The head crest is a different part. That's why it doesn't come out of the head - and you have to take the toy apart to get it out.
I had been saying this for a long time and someone finally confirmed it, but I don't remember who.

Oh yeah? So its permanently stuck in, and is only missing when the head itself is broken? That explains why I can't find a pic of it. Can someone then please confirm that the dimensions / contours on the head part are essentially the same as the handheld part of similar design?

I can't upload photos on this app, but I just checked a handheld axe against the head crest. It's impossible to get them side by side - the axe handle stops it getting close to the head, but by tilting and squinting, I'd say they were the same contour and size. I don't know how it actually fits inside the head, but the crest part definitely looks the same to me.

As an FYI, we have been making progress. It turns out that the head crest is actually a little longer than the weapon, and it has a lip just below the head (no handle-like protrusion). We are just working on the quality of the prints, but it is looking good so far.
I plan to chrome paint this. I read that the chrome spray paints can be quite good, as long as you base coat it with a glossy black, and don't seal (reduces the shine).
